LERIDA 6 LIGHT CTC

The Lerida CTC6 is a six-light close-to-ceiling fitting in iron and crystal — G9 globes at 6 W each — in gold or chrome.

The crystal fitting for a room that cannot take a pendant

This is the whole point of it. Every other Lerida hangs — spheres, rectangles and multi-light pendants, all needing height. The CTC6 sits close to the ceiling, so you can put Lerida crystal in a bedroom, a hallway or a room with a low ceiling where a pendant would be in the way. Use pendants in the rooms with height and CTCs elsewhere, and the whole house reads as one scheme.

Iron and crystal — and the contrast is the product

The frame is iron; it is set with crystal. The metal gives structure; the crystal catches and multiplies the six small sources into a great many more. Behind plain glass, six G9 capsules would be six points of light.

Roughly 2,100 lumens

A modern 6 W LED capsule gives around 350 lm, so six deliver in the order of 2,100 lm — enough to carry a bedroom or a hallway on its own, which is what a close-to-ceiling fitting is usually asked to do.

Six G9 globes, not supplied

G9 is a small capsule base, not a screw fitting — check what you are buying. Buy all six in one order: behind crystal, a single globe of a different white shows across the whole fitting. Dimming is globe dependent.

A crystal fitting arrives to be built — allow time on installation day.
