Product Description
xThe Lerida CTC4 is a four-light crystal close-to-ceiling fitting in gold or chrome — four G9 globes to 6 W each, not supplied, on an iron and crystal frame.
⚠ Two things to sort out before this is installed, and neither was on the page.
- It needs assembling. The Lerida arrives as components and is put together on site — crystal fittings usually are, because assembled crystal does not survive shipping. That is normal, but it means allow your electrician time for it, and it is not a fitting to hand to someone in a hurry. The fact sat in a raw data dump at the bottom of the page.

No dimensions exist in any source. The datasheet's dimension block contains
a wattage —
"G9 Max.": "6Wx4"— and nothing else. Our record carries none, and the page had none. Ask us for the diameter and drop before you order — on a close-to-ceiling fitting, how far it hangs below the plane is what decides whether it suits the room.
Crystal without the drop
That is what a crystal close-to-ceiling fitting is for. A crystal chandelier needs height — two metres or more of clear air — which rules it out of most rooms. The Lerida CTC puts the same material and the same sparkle against the ceiling, so it works in a bedroom, a hallway, an entry or a dining room with an ordinary ceiling.
Crystal refracts rather than diffusing: instead of an even glow you get points of light thrown across the ceiling and walls, and the effect changes as you move. It looks best with something below to catch the reflections — a polished table, a stone floor, a glazed surface.
What separates the Lerida from a traditional crystal fitting is the iron. A classical piece hides its structure; the Lerida's frame is deliberately visible — substantial, geometric metal against fine cut glass — which is what lets it sit in a modern room as easily as a formal one.
Four G9 globes — and on crystal the globe decides everything
Four G9 to 6 W each — 24 W total, not supplied. G9 is a small bi-pin capsule, about the size of a thumbnail, which pushes in rather than screwing.
This is the one decision that determines whether the crystal does anything at all, and no source mentioned it:
- Use CLEAR capsules. Crystal refracts a point source into sparkle. A frosted or opal G9 gives a soft glow with no point to refract, and the crystal goes flat and grey — you will have paid for cut glass you cannot see working.
- LED, not halogen. Four halogen G9s inside a crystal fitting mounted tight against a ceiling produce a great deal of heat with nowhere to go.
- Warm 2700 K. Against gold, cool white reads green — and warm light through crystal gives the amber-and-white sparkle the material is chosen for.
- All four together, same brand.

It dims, with the right globes — the datasheet says globe dependent, and our record carried no dimming value at all.
On a crystal fitting, dimming is not a convenience — it is the effect. At full, four sources light the room and the sparkle competes with everything else. Low, the room falls away and the refractions are the only thing you see. Fit dimmable LEDs and use a wall dimmer.
Gold or chrome
- Gold — warm, and it reads as part of the statement alongside the crystal. More formal, and it sits with brass hardware and warm timber.
- Chrome — cool and neutral; the metal recedes and the crystal carries the fitting. The more restrained of the two, and right in a contemporary room.
⚠ Which shape is it? The Lerida range is made in two shapes — a sphere and an elongated rectangle — and the page never says which this one is, with no dimensions to settle it. We have asked Telbix, and we will confirm before you order.
Class I — earth required, hard-wired, and IP20 — indoor and dry locations only, in iron and crystal, gloss. RCM approved.
Where it works
- Bedrooms, hallways, entries and dining rooms with ordinary ceilings.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
