LERIDA 24 LIGHT PENDANT

The Lerida PE24 is a twenty-four-light crystal pendant in iron — 144 W across twenty-four G9 globes, weighing 11 kg — in gold or chrome.

The largest Lerida — and the numbers scale accordingly

The range runs from an eight-light at 48 W and 2.5 kg up to this twenty-four-light at 144 W and 11 kg. That is three times the load and four times the weight of the smallest. If you are stepping up from a smaller Lerida, the installation requirements step up with it.

Roughly 8,400 lumens

A modern 6 W LED capsule gives around 350 lm, so twenty-four deliver in the order of 8,400 lm. That will light a large room outright — a genuinely functional fitting rather than a decorative one, which crystal chandeliers rarely are.

Iron and crystal at scale

Twenty-four small sources set behind crystal produce a great many more points of refracted light than the count suggests — which is the whole reason crystal is used on multi-light fittings. Behind plain glass it would simply be twenty-four bulbs.

Only 350 mm deep

Worth noting given the scale: it is shallow for a twenty-four-light fitting, on a 2,000 mm suspension with a 30 mm canopy projection. It spreads rather than drops.

Twenty-four G9 globes, not supplied

Buy all twenty-four in one order. On a fitting this size a single globe of a different white is unmissable, and sourcing a matching one later is harder than it sounds. G9 is a small capsule base, not a screw fitting. Dimming is globe dependent.

Assembly is required

An eleven-kilogram crystal fitting arrives to be built. Allow real time on installation day, and expect this to be a two-person job in practice.
