Lasian 30Cm Pendant Light

The Lasian PE30 is a 300 mm single pendant with a fluted resin diffuser in white with antique gold — one E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied, on a 2,000 mm suspension.

Fluted resin — translucent, and structured

Moulded resin with vertical fluting. Resin is translucent, so light passes through the shade as well as out of it, and the fluting breaks that transmitted light into soft vertical bands.

The shade therefore glows with visible structure rather than as a flat panel — warmer and softer than glass, more interesting than a plain diffuser, and with no visible globe and no glare from any angle. That last point is worth having: it means you can hang it low, at eye level over a bench, without discomfort.

One globe — and what that means for how you use it

One E27 to 25 W, none supplied. The 400 mm Lasian takes two, so it is not simply larger — it is roughly twice the light.

This 300 mm version is therefore a softer, more contained fitting: right over a small table, a bedside, an entry or a section of bench, or in a run of two or three where the repeated fluted forms read as a rhythm. Alone over a full dining table it will be under-lit — the 400 mm is the one for that.

300 by 290 mm — almost square

300 mm wide by 290 mm high, on a 100 mm canopy with 2,000 mm of adjustable drop. That near-square proportion is what makes it read as a sculptural form rather than a lampshade — and the small canopy keeps the ceiling end discreet.

Part of a three-form range

Lasian comes as pendants, table lamps and floor lamps, all with the same fluted resin and antique gold — so a pendant over a table, a table lamp on a sideboard and a floor lamp beside a chair read as one decision.

Where it works

• Over small tables, bedsides and bench sections — hang it low, it does not glare.
• In runs of two or three, where the fluted forms repeat.
• Alongside Lasian table and floor lamps.
• ⚠ Alone over a dining table it will be under-lit — use the 400 mm.
• ⚠ Hanging several? Buy the globes together.
