Product Description
xThe Lasi is the odd one out in Havit's surface-mounted range, and deliberately so: a single fixed warm white behind clear glass, rather than a switchable tri-colour behind an opal diffuser. It is a decision about character. Clear glass and a fixed 3000K give a fitting that reads as a light with a visible source, warm and slightly sparkling, instead of a softly glowing panel.
Fixed 3000K, and why that is a feature
There is no colour switch. Every Lasi is 3000K, producing 885 lm from a built-in 12 W LED. On a run of fittings across an entry or an alfresco wall that removes the most common installation error in tri-colour products entirely — one fitting set to a different temperature from its neighbours, usually discovered after the scaffolding is down. It also means the warm tone is what you specified, permanently.
The beam is a wide 180°, which is close to a full hemisphere: the fitting throws light along the wall in both directions as well as outward, so it lights a broad span rather than a pool beneath itself. Glare is specified at UGR under 34 with CRI above 80.
It dims, and Havit names the dimmer
Unlike most sealed-LED wall lights, the Lasi is Triac dimmable — stated on its dated data sheet and on Havit's own product page. Havit lists the HV9625 300 W LED dial dimmer as the compatible accessory, which is worth quoting to your electrician rather than assuming any leading-edge dimmer will behave. Dimming a fixed-3000K fitting is also the more useful combination: you change the level without the tone shifting.
Where it can go
The rating is IP65, so a fully exposed wall is within rating — no eave required. It is also rated for wall or ceiling mounting, which makes it usable on a carport or alfresco soffit. The body is aluminium in black or white at the same price, impact resistance is IK04 (everyday knocks rather than deliberate impact), and it is Protection Class 1, so an earth is required.
The LED is integral: no globe to buy, nothing to replace, and a rated life over 30,000 hours. The warranty is 3 years replacement.
Questions
Can I switch it to a cooler white?
No. The Lasi is a fixed 3000K warm white. If you need selectable colour temperature, the Arkua and the Muovi range are tri-colour and switchable.
Is it really dimmable?
Yes — Triac dimmable, stated on its dated data sheet and on Havit’s own page. Havit names the HV9625 300 W LED dial dimmer as the compatible unit; give that part number to your electrician.
Can it go somewhere fully exposed?
Yes. It is IP65, which covers dust and low-pressure water jets from any direction, so no eave or hood is needed.
Can it be ceiling mounted?
Yes. Havit rates it for wall or ceiling surface mounting, so a carport or alfresco soffit works as well as a wall.
Does it need an earth?
Yes. It is Protection Class 1, so an earth connection is required.
How wide does it throw?
180°, which is close to a full hemisphere — it washes along the wall in both directions rather than dropping a pool directly below.
Is there a globe inside it?
No. The 12 W LED is built in, so there is nothing to buy alongside it and nothing to replace; the LED and the fitting share a service life.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.
