Product Description
xA 335 mm exterior wall light in black with opal glass, taking a globe up to 60 W, rated IP44.
IP44 is rain and splash, not full weather. An earlier version of this page said it was designed to stand up to the elements. It suits a sheltered wall, a porch or an entry — not direct hosing, a fully exposed position or coastal salt spray.
Opal glass, so no glare at the door
Unlike the clear-glass exterior lanterns in this range, the Kenty's glass is opal — it diffuses rather than reveals. At an entry that is the more comfortable choice: you get an even panel of light instead of a bare globe in your eyes as you approach. It also makes the globe choice far less critical, so a plain warm LED does the job.
A 60 W ceiling
Generous for an exterior fitting — most cap at 25 W. With an LED globe, 60 W of headroom means you can make a front entry genuinely bright rather than merely marked.
240 mm projection
It stands well off the wall. Beside a narrow door or along a path where people pass close, measure the clearance first.

- Front entries and porches with some shelter.
- Garage and courtyard walls.
- Verandahs.
- Anywhere glare at head height would be a nuisance.

Is it weatherproof?
It is IP44 — rain and splash on a sheltered wall. Not direct hosing, full exposure or coastal salt spray, whatever an earlier version of this page said.
Why opal glass rather than clear?
It diffuses instead of revealing the globe, so there is no glare at head height as you approach a door — and a plain warm globe works perfectly.
How bright can it go?
Up to 60 W, generous for an exterior fitting where most cap at 25 W.
How far does it project?
240 mm — measure the clearance beside a narrow door or path.
Why does the order code say SILVAN?
The listing carries two different product names, which we are correcting. Quote the order code when you order and the right fitting will be despatched.
Is a globe included?
No. One E27 globe, supplied separately.

xWarranties
For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
