The Kelo RE22 is a 220 mm oval LED bunker light in black with an opal matt diffuser — 10 W giving 600 lm, with switchable 2700 K / 3000 K / 4000 K, CRI above 90, IP65.
A bunker is a sealed, low-profile, impact-tolerant fitting designed to be mounted where it will be rained on, hosed and knocked — originally on ships and industrial buildings. The domestic version keeps the toughness and loses the ugliness. The Kelo is polycarbonate throughout, which matters more than it sounds: there is no metal to corrode, so in a coastal or salt-air position it outlasts an aluminium fitting that will pit and chalk.
Most tri-colour fittings run 3000 / 4000 / 5000 K. The Kelo runs 2700 / 3000 / 4000 K — the whole range shifted warmer. 2700 K is close to an old filament lamp, and on a house exterior it reads as domestic and welcoming where 5000 K reads institutional. A bunker light is exactly the kind of fitting that usually looks utilitarian; the warm setting is what stops it.
CRI above 90 on a bunker light is unusual. These are normally the most basic fittings in a range, specified for durability rather than quality of light. Above 90 means brick, render and timber hold their real colour — and the Kelo washes the wall immediately around itself, which is precisely where low CRI looks grey and cheap.
10 W at 60 lm/W. The opal matt diffuser spreads that evenly across the whole face — no visible LED, no bright point, no glare from any angle. At 600 lm it will light a doorway, a step or a passage properly, which is more than the accent fittings in this range manage.
220 mm long, 120 mm wide, only 64 mm deep, at 0.3 kg. Shallow enough to sit in a passage or a stairwell without catching shoulders, and the oval form is softer than the square bulkheads it replaces.
IP65 and Class II. Dust-tight and rated against water jets, so it takes driven rain and hose-down on an unsheltered wall. Double insulated, no earth required, which simplifies the install. Not dimmable; the switch changes colour, not level.

Yes, and better than most. It is polycarbonate throughout, so there is no metal to corrode — in a coastal or salt-air position it outlasts an aluminium fitting that will pit and chalk.

Yes — IP65 is dust-tight and rated against water jets, so it takes driven rain and hose-down.
Yes — laundries, garages and plant rooms are natural places for it, and the warm setting means it does not have to look utilitarian.
No — Class II, double insulated, which simplifies the install. It is still hard-wired.
