The Kato is a 10 W dimmable LED downlight giving 850 lm on a wide 110° beam, with three switchable colour temperatures and an IP44 rating, in nickel or white.
We are not publishing a cut-out size. None of our sources records one, and it is the single figure your electrician needs before cutting the ceiling. Ask us and we will confirm it before you order — a hole cut to the wrong size cannot be undone.
Most downlights are IP20 and have no business over a shower or a bath. IP44 is rated against splashing, which puts the Kato in the bathroom, the laundry and under an eave where the alternatives cannot go. Your electrician will confirm the zone.
Much wider than the 60° general-purpose angle. At 110° the light spreads broadly and overlaps generously between fittings, which gives even coverage with fewer downlights and no scalloping on the walls. It is the right choice for general room lighting and the wrong one for accenting a single object.
3000 K, 4000 K or 5700 K, switched at installation. That top figure is cooler than the usual 5000 K — genuinely daylight-toned, useful in a garage, a workshop or a laundry.
That is high for a downlight, where CRI 80 is the norm. In a kitchen or a bathroom, where you are judging food and faces, it is a visible improvement.
60 mm high, recessed, in nickel or white. 10 W giving 850 lm, beam 110°, CRI >86, switchable 3000/4000/5700 K, dimmable. 240 V, IP44 — splash rated. Warranty is three years. Cut-out not published — ask us.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You. Check dimmer compatibility with us before ordering; that is where dimming problems come from, not from the fitting.

Yes. It is IP44, rated against splashing — unlike the IP20 downlights that are far more common. Your electrician will confirm the zone.
Further than usual. The 110° beam overlaps generously, so you get even coverage with fewer fittings and no scalloping.
It is dimmable, but compatibility depends on the dimmer. Check with us before ordering.
3000 K, 4000 K or 5700 K, switched at installation. The 5700 K is cooler than the usual 5000 K.
CRI above 86, which is high for a downlight — noticeable in a kitchen or bathroom.
Three years.
