Jornel Pendant Light

The Jornel is a natural stone pendant, 200 mm high and weighing 2.2 kg, taking a GU10 globe — in white marble or beige travertine.

Two different stones, not two colours

This is worth getting right. The white version is marble — dense, veined, smooth. The beige is travertine — a limestone full of small natural pits with a soft banded grain. They behave differently in the hand and under light, and our own record lists only "marble" for both.

Stone hanging overhead

At 2.2 kg this is a solid object on a 2 m suspension. Have your electrician confirm the ceiling fixing before installation, particularly into plasterboard without a batten — it is not a fitting to hang from a hook.

A 160° beam, downward

Stone does not transmit light, so all of it comes out of the bottom in a wide 160° spread. That makes the Jornel a genuine task pendant over a bench or table — unlike the decorative stone wall lights in this range, which glow at the edges only.

GU10, so the beam is yours

6 W maximum, not supplied. Because the globe is replaceable you can narrow the beam for a defined pool or widen it for a wash, and swap a failed globe rather than the fitting.

Every piece is different

Both stones are quarried. Colour, veining and pitting vary from fitting to fitting — so a run of three will be siblings, not twins.

200 mm high, weight 2.2 kg, suspension 2,000 mm, canopy projection 35 mm, in marble or travertine. One GU10 globe at 6 W maximum, not supplied, beam 160°. Published as not dimmable. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years.
