Product Description
xThe Jaxon is a classic drum-shade floor lamp — 1,480 mm tall with a ø360 mm fabric shade on a slim metal stem. What sets it apart is the choice: five colourways, including three where the shade is a colour rather than a neutral.
The shade colour is the decision
A fabric shade tints the light passing through it. Ivory and wheat stay warm and neutral. The blue and green options will cast a subtle colour onto the wall behind them — deliberate, and lovely in the right room, but worth knowing before it arrives. Black absorbs rather than transmits, so a black shade throws light up and down rather than out.
Floor lamp height, done properly
At 1,480 mm the shade sits above head height when you are seated, which is what you want beside an armchair — light on the page, not in the eyes. The base is a modest ø280 mm, so it tucks beside furniture rather than claiming floor space.
Plugs straight in
It is Class II — double insulated, no earth required, so it needs a socket and nothing else. No electrician, no wiring work — useful in a rental or where a corner has no ceiling point.
Where it works
- Beside an armchair or sofa, as a reading light.
- Corners a ceiling fitting does not reach.
- Bedrooms, as a softer alternative to an overhead light.
- Rentals and apartments, where it plugs in with no wiring.

Supplied and supported by Lights For You. With a coloured shade, fit a warm globe — cool white light through a blue or green fabric reads cold on the wall.

xWarranties, Return & Refund Policy
xWarranties
For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.

- Restocking fee: 20% will apply unless otherwise stated, or unless another order of equal or greater value is placed in lieu of this re-stocking fee.
