Product Description
xThe Ivalo PE60 is a 600 mm woven pendant whose shade converts between a full sphere and a half sphere — black or natural — one E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied, on a 2,000 mm suspension.
The shade changes shape, and you can change it back. This is what our page was cut off before finishing, and there is nothing else like it in this catalogue.
The woven shade can be styled as a full sphere — a closed globe hanging over the table — or adjusted into a half sphere, an open dome. That is not a manufacturing option chosen at purchase: it is something you do, and undo, whenever you want a different room.
What each shape actually does with the light
The two are genuinely different fittings, not two looks:
- Full sphere — the weave surrounds the globe, so light escapes in every direction through the woven surface. The whole 600 mm form glows, throwing a soft dappled pattern outward and upward. Ambient: it lights the room and reads as a large luminous object.
- Half sphere — the shade becomes an open dome, so most of the light goes straight down. A defined pool on the table, a darker room around it, and the globe becomes partly visible from below.
Full sphere for a living room; half sphere over a dining table. Being able to switch between them, in the same fitting, in the same position, is unusual enough to be the whole purchase decision.
⚠ The larger Ivalo is not the brighter one. Both sizes take the same single E27 globe to 25 W. The 600 mm gives no more light than the 450 mm — the shade simply grows. Choose the 600 for presence over a larger table, not for output; if you need more light, use more pendants.
600 by 550 mm — a genuine statement
Roughly square in proportion, which is what a sphere needs, on a 120 mm canopy with 2,000 mm of adjustable drop. At this size it is a single centrepiece over a dining table or in an entry, not something to hang in a run.
⚠ No weight is recorded for a 600 mm woven pendant on an iron frame. Ask us before the fixing is chosen.
Black or natural — and it changes the light too
On a woven, light-transmitting shade the colour is not only decorative:
- Natural — far more light passes through the weave, so in full sphere the shade glows warmly and fills the room. The softer, brighter choice.
- Black — much less passes through, so even as a full sphere the output goes mostly downward and the fitting stays a dark sculptural form. Higher contrast, more drama, less ambient light.
Dimming depends on the globe. Our record says “No”; the datasheet says globe dependent, and the datasheet is right. On a woven shade — especially the natural, in full sphere — dimming is very good: low, the whole form becomes a soft lantern. Use a warm 2700 K globe; cool white through natural fibre looks wrong. And in half sphere the globe is partly visible, so choose a frosted or opal one rather than a clear filament. Ask us and we will match it.

Does the shade really change shape?

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
