Product Description
xThe Ivalo PE45 is a 450 mm woven pendant whose shade converts between a full sphere and a half sphere — black or natural — one E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied, on a 2,000 mm suspension.
The shade changes shape, and you can change it back. Our page was cut off before finishing the sentence, and there is nothing else like it in this catalogue: the woven shade can be styled as a full sphere or adjusted into a half sphere, and it is something you do and undo whenever you want a different room — not a choice made once at purchase.
The two shapes are two different fittings
- Full sphere — the weave surrounds the globe, so light escapes in every direction and the whole form glows, throwing a soft dappled pattern outward. Ambient.
- Half sphere — an open dome, so most of the light goes straight down: a defined pool below and a darker room around it, with the globe partly visible.

450 mm — and it is not the dimmer size
450 mm wide by 420 mm high. Both Ivalos take the same single E27 to 25 W, so this one gives exactly as much light as the 600 mm — the shade simply grows.
That makes the 450 mm the better-proportioned choice in most rooms. It works singly over a small table, an island or an entry, and — unlike the 600 mm, which is a single centrepiece — it is small enough to hang in a pair or a run of three over a longer bench, which is also how you get more light, since a bigger shade will not give you any.
Black or natural — a choice about light
On a woven, light-transmitting shade the colour changes what the fitting does:
- Natural — far more light passes through, so in full sphere the shade glows warmly and fills the room. Softer and brighter.
- Black — much less passes through, so the output goes mostly downward even as a sphere, and the fitting stays a dark sculptural form. More contrast, less ambient light.
In a run of three, that difference compounds: three natural spheres light a room; three black ones give three pools on a bench.
Dimming depends on the globe. Our record says “No”; the datasheet says globe dependent, and the datasheet is right. Use a warm 2700 K globe — cool white through natural fibre looks wrong — and frosted or opal rather than a clear filament, because in half-sphere form the globe shows. In a run, ask us for a matched set.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
