Invar 7 CTC Ceiling Light

The Invar CTC7 is a 650 mm seven-light close-to-ceiling fitting in nickel matt — 40 W giving 3,040 lm at 4000 K, CRI above 90, TRIAC dimmable.

CRI above 90 — and it was never mentioned

Most ceiling fittings in this catalogue record CRI 80, where food looks duller, timber flattens and skin goes slightly grey. The Invar records above 90.

Combined with its 4000 K neutral white and 3,040 lm, that makes it a genuinely good kitchen or working-room fitting — the colour is right for a bench, the output carries the room, and the colour rendering means you can judge what you are cooking.

Seven sources across 650 mm

650 mm wide, projecting 195 mm. Seven separate COB sources spread across that width give even light without a single hotspot, and the 195 mm projection means it reads as a substantial object on the ceiling rather than a flush disc — closer to a chandelier in presence than to an oyster.

Aluminium, iron and glass, in nickel matt

Matt rather than polished, which on a 650 mm fitting carrying seven lit sources is the right choice: a polished nickel surface that size would reflect every one of them back at the room.
