Product Description
xThe Illume is a 10 W outdoor LED spot light with the LED built in — 235 mm high, weighing only 0.33 kg, rated IP44. It is an aiming fitting: you point it at something.
Three finishes, not two. The listing name mentions black or silver. A white version is also stocked — useful against a rendered or pale wall, where black and silver both read as a dark mark.
5000 K, and that is a deliberate choice
It is fixed at 5000 K cool white — not switchable. On foliage and stonework that reads crisp and makes green look green; on a rendered house wall it reads cold and clinical. Aim it at planting and hard landscaping rather than at the house and it does what it is designed for.
A 140° beam is a wash, not a spot
Despite the name, this is a wide beam. It floods a wall or a garden bed rather than picking out a single tree. If you want a tight beam up a trunk, a spike spot with a 25–45° beam is the right tool.
Where it works
- Washing garden beds and planting, where 5000 K suits foliage.
- Stone and masonry walls, grazing the texture.
- Wide areas needing coverage rather than a focused beam.
- Pale walls, using the white finish so the fitting disappears by day.

What finishes are available?
Three: black, silver and white. The listing name only mentions two — white is stocked and suits a pale or rendered wall.
Can I change the colour temperature?
No. It is fixed at 5000 K cool white, which suits foliage and stonework but reads cold on a house wall.
Is it really a spot light?
It has a wide 140° beam, so it washes rather than spots. For a tight beam up a tree trunk, use a spike spot with a 25–45° beam.
Is there a globe to replace?
No. The 10 W LED is built in.
What weather will it take?
IP44 — splashing water from any direction.
Does it need an electrician?
It is double insulated, so no earth is needed at the fitting, but exterior wiring should still be done by a licensed electrician.
What is the warranty?
Three years.

xWarranties, Return & Refund Policy
xWarranties
For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
