Product Description
xZigbee Receiver 240v
This is a mains-side control unit. It wires into the 240V supply and controls the circuit feeding your lighting.
What it controls
Match this unit to the strip you intend to run. Havit build these controllers for particular channel layouts, and the layout has to agree at both ends - a controller and a strip that disagree will drive the wrong channels or leave some of them dead.

Control protocol
It works over Zigbee.
Zigbee is a wireless mesh protocol. Units relay for one another, so range grows as more are added rather than depending on a single point.
⚠ Every part of the chain has to speak the same protocol. Mixing systems is the most common reason a control setup does not respond as expected.
Living with a mains control
A mains-side control switches the circuit itself, which makes it the most robust place to put control - there is no low-voltage signal path to go wrong, and nothing downstream needs to understand it.
It also means the whole circuit behaves as one. That is an advantage where a room should simply come on together, and a limitation where parts of it need to be controlled separately.
⚠ Check the wall box depth before ordering. A control with electronics behind its face needs more room than the switch it replaces, and that is the most common reason one will not fit.
Think about who else uses the room. A control only one person understands is a control that gets worked around - somebody will leave the circuit permanently on rather than learn it, which undoes the point of fitting it.
Where a dimmer is involved, test the full range with the actual fittings before signing the job off. Dimming faults show at the bottom of the range rather than the top, and a circuit that dims smoothly to half and then flickers is a compatibility problem rather than a faulty unit.
Specification notes
⚠ At IP20 this unit has no weather protection. It must be installed in a permanently dry location - indoors, inside a cavity or in a cupboard, never outside or anywhere it could see condensation.
Installation
This unit connects to mains and must be installed by a licensed electrician. It fits a standard wall position, so in most cases it takes the place of an existing switch rather than needing new wiring runs.

Does this power the lights on its own?
It controls the circuit, but the lighting still needs whatever supply it normally uses. A low-voltage run also needs its driver.
What system do I need to run it?
Something that speaks Zigbee. Every part of the chain has to use the same protocol.
Can it go outside?
No. At IP20 it has no weather protection and has to stay in a permanently dry location.
Do I need an electrician?

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
