This is the plaster version of the Concept — same 180 mm × 100 mm proportions and same G9 lamp, but a plaster body finished in white and supplied ready to paint. That single difference changes what the fitting is for. Where the aluminium version is meant to be seen, this one is meant to be painted into the wall so only the light reads. The choice you are making at the cart is colour temperature: HV8027C is cool white, HV8027W is warm white. It is rated IP20, so it is strictly an indoor fitting.
HV8027C runs 6000K cool white at 130 lm; HV8027W runs 3000K warm white at 120 lm. In a hallway or living space that reads warm, the 3000K version keeps the wall wash sympathetic to timber and paint. In a garage, laundry or utility passage, the 6000K version reads cleaner and more functional. Both draw 2 W at 240 V.
The Concept plaster wall light wires straight to 240 V AC mains and needs no driver or transformer. It is Class 1, so an earth is required and the connection is an electrician's job. The globe is a G9 capsule and is replaceable; nothing with a different base will fit. The socket accepts a maximum of 25 W — a heat limit for the plaster body. There is no diffuser over the aperture, impact rating is IK02, and the fitting is not dimmable. Rated life is under 30,000 hours.
Supplied by Lights For You — because this Concept is the paint-ready plaster body rather than the powder-coated aluminium one, get it on site before the final coat goes on; if you would rather see the fitting than hide it, choose the aluminium HV8028 instead.
No. IP20 means no water protection whatsoever. It is an indoor-only fitting.
Yes — that is the point of it. Paint it to match the surrounding wall, keeping paint off the globe and out of the socket.
A G9 capsule, and it is replaceable. A different base will not fit the socket.
Yes, 25 W. Exceeding it overheats a plaster body that cannot shed that much heat — a fire risk, and it voids the warranty.
No. It connects directly to 240 V mains and requires an earth as a Class 1 fitting.
No.
Colour temperature and output. HV8027C is 6000K at 130 lm; HV8027W is 3000K at 120 lm.
A 3-year replacement warranty.
