Nella Black 24w Surface Mounted Rotatable

This listing sells the 24 W Nella Rotatable in both finishes — HV5825T-BLK in black and HV5825T-WHT in white. It is the largest and brightest fitting in the Nella surface-mounted family, it needs no ceiling cut-out, and the lower half of the body rotates through 90° so the light can be aimed anywhere from straight down to horizontal.

2320 lm from a surface-mounted fitting

Havit's ordering row measures 2100 lm at 3000K, 2320 lm at 4000K and 2270 lm at 5500K, matched to the barcodes on this listing. The brightest setting is 4000K; the cool setting gives about 2% less and the warm setting about 9% less. That is a genuinely bright single fitting — more than twice the 12 W rotatable — and it is the reason to choose this model: it will light a double-height void, a shop floor, a workshop or a stairwell from one position, without a hole in the ceiling and without a plenum to hide a housing in.

Its beam is 60°, not the 36° of the 12 W

This is the fact most likely to be assumed wrong, because the two rotatable Nella models look like a pair. Havit's data sheet prints 60° against all four HV5825T part numbers and 36° against all four HV5823T part numbers. The 24 W is therefore not a brighter version of the 12 W aimed at the same spot — it is a wider fitting as well as a brighter one, and it covers substantially more area rather than concentrating harder. If you want a tight, high-contrast accent, the 12 W is the narrower optic despite being the smaller fitting.

Rotation and aiming

The head moves through 90°. Havit's installation sheet describes redirecting it by gently moving the bottom half of the fitting, so aiming needs no tool after installation, and the base plate is removed by twisting anti-clockwise when the fitting is first fixed. Because the head rotates, Havit's drawing gives two overall height figures rather than one, so no single projection dimension is published here — worth allowing for on a low ceiling, where a rotated 24 W head sits noticeably lower than a fitting pointing straight down.

Mounting and electrical

A Ø105 mm mounting base is fixed to the ceiling and the Ø110 mm body covers it — the largest base in the family, and it takes four fixings rather than the two used on the smaller rotatable. It runs on 240 V AC, is Protection Class 1 so an earth is required at the fitting, and is Triac dimmable from an ordinary wall dimmer, with Havit's HV9625 dimmer listed to suit.

Materials, rating and warranty

Powder-coated aluminium behind a Glass diffuser — Havit specifies plain glass on the rotatable models, where the tilt models in the same range get semi frosted glass. Rated IP54, IK07, CRI >80, maximum wattage 24 W, lamp expectancy >30,000 hrs, wiring parallel. Its own installation sheet carries a condition on the fitting: "Aluminium and 304SS fittings must not be installed within 5km of any salt water environments." Havit's page for these part numbers states "Built in 24w LED 3 Years replacement warranty (items ordered after 01/01/22)", and HV5825T_Data_Sheet_JULY23.pdf prints "Warranty 3 Years Replacement*".
