The Prime tilt is a 12 W recessed downlight that aims — the lamp assembly tilts about 20° inside a fixed 90 mm bezel, so the trim stays square to the ceiling while the light points where you want it. That is the whole reason to choose it over a fixed downlight: you can wash a wall, graze a splashback or light a picture without a visible gimbal breaking the ceiling line.
A tilting downlight is specified where the target is not directly below the hole. Angled along a kitchen run it lights the bench face rather than the front edge of the cabinets; turned toward a feature wall it grazes the surface. Set the aim during commissioning — once the ceiling is patched and painted, adjusting means getting back into it.
It takes a 90 mm cut-out and the LED is built in — no globe, no socket. Output is 980 lm, 990 lm and 1,000 lm across the three tri-colour settings of 3000 K, 4000 K and 5500 K, on a 45° beam. CRI is 90 or better, which is the specification that matters in a kitchen or anywhere colour is judged — food, fabric and timber all read wrong under a low-CRI lamp. It is dimmable and is supplied with a dimmable LED driver complete with flex and plug, runs on 240 V AC, and is IP54 with an IC-4 rating on the fitting itself. Matt black or white.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You. Because it arrives with its own dimmable driver on a flex and plug, it drops into an existing 90 mm hole without rewiring — useful on a retrofit where the old fitting was the same cut-out.
About 20° inside a fixed bezel, so the trim stays square to the ceiling while the beam aims off-centre.
