The Mia is Havit’s up-and-down exterior wall light in poly powder coated aluminium — a differently bodied sibling to the Luxe on identical electrics — sold here in black or white and wired straight to 240 V mains. Light leaves it in both directions at a 120° spread, grazing the wall above the fitting and below it rather than throwing glare out across a garden.
There is a single supply: 240 V AC. It takes no driver and no transformer, and none is supplied — it wires straight to the circuit. The fitting is Class 1, so an earth is required, and Havit’s sequence is to connect the earth first and then live and neutral. Where more than one fitting shares a run, the wiring is done in parallel.
Havit rates the Mia at 1 × 9 W and publishes 400 lm at 3000K, 425 lm at 4000K and 450 lm at 5500K. Those are the fitting’s total output and are not a figure to double. Havit marks its twin-lamp models by printing the wattage and the lumens as a pair in the ordering table; this one is printed singly, which is the difference worth knowing before you compare it with something else on a spec sheet.
Output rises with colour temperature here: 5500K is the brightest at 450 lm, 4000K gives 425 lm and 3000K the least at 400 lm. The spread is fifty lumens, which is not enough to choose a colour you do not want — and we state it because the direction is not the same on every Havit fitting, so it is not a habit to carry from one product to the next.
The colour temperature is chosen on a slide switch inside the base of the fitting — 3000K, 4000K or 5500K — and it ships preset to 3000K. Reaching it means loosening the allen screws and lifting the body off its base plate, so it is set on installation rather than changed on a whim. The beam is a fixed 120°, not adjustable, and the fitting is not dimmable.
Havit’s instructions are explicit: seal all holes, including the cable entry and around the screws, retighten the allen screws so water cannot get in, and apply silicone around the edge of the fitting. All o-rings and seals must be correctly in place to maintain the warranty, and modifying the fitting voids it. It is IP54 behind a glass diffuser and carries an IK09 impact rating — both of which assume the fitting was sealed on install.
The Mia is aluminium, and Havit states that aluminium and 304SS fittings must not be installed within 5 km of any salt water environment — so for a beachside address, ask us for a marine-grade fitting instead of this one. It mounts on a base plate taking two Ø5 mm fixings around a Ø13 mm cable entry. The overall figures on Havit’s drawing are printed without labelling which is height, which is width and which is depth, so we publish no overall dimensions and no wall projection. Lights For You holds the Mia in both finishes, and we are happy to check it against your wall and your circuit before anything is ordered.
No. 400 lm, 425 lm and 450 lm is what the fitting produces, on a 1 × 9 W rating. Havit prints the wattage and lumens as a pair on its twin-lamp models and singly on this one, so the figure on the page is already the whole of it.
The body, and nothing electrical. On Havit’s shared installation sheet both models sit in one table and every row except the part number, the range name and the colour is common to both — same 1 × 9 W, same 400/425/450 lm, same IP54, same 120° fixed beam, same tri-colour switch. Choose on the shape you want on the wall.
5500K, at 450 lm, with 4000K at 425 lm and 3000K the dimmest at 400 lm. Output rises with colour temperature on this fitting — worth stating, because the direction is not the same on every Havit fitting.
Neither. It is a 240 V AC mains fitting that wires straight to the circuit, and it is Class 1, so an earth is required. Havit asks for the earth to be connected before live and neutral, and for fittings sharing a run to be wired in parallel.
No. Both of Havit’s current documents for this model record it as not dimmable. Ask us if you want an exterior wall light you can dim, and we will find one that is rated for it.
Neither — the LED is built into the fitting. There is no socket and no lamp to replace, which is also why the colour temperature is chosen on the switch in the base rather than by buying a different globe.
Not within 5 km of salt water. Havit’s installation instructions state that aluminium and 304SS fittings must not be installed within 5 km of any salt water environment, and this one is aluminium. For a coastal address, ask us about a marine-grade alternative.
We do not publish that. Havit’s drawing prints the body’s overall measurements without labelling which figure is which, and a guessed wall projection on a wall light is how one gets returned. The dimensioned drawing is in the data sheet on this page.
