Product Description
xThe Essil is a slim fixed-down wall light for the positions where you want a clean line of light on a wall and nothing else on show. The body is powder-coated aluminium, the aperture faces straight down, and there is no arm or cowl to cast a shadow of itself. It is the quiet option in the range.
Fixed down, and why that matters
Because the beam only goes down, the Essil is chosen for effect rather than coverage. It grazes the wall below it and reaches the ground, so it suits a path edge, a step, or the wall beside a door. It will not light a whole courtyard, and it is not meant to — for that you want an up/down or a floodlight. Decide on the effect first and the finish second.
Where it works
- Entry and porch walls, mounted above head height so the aperture is out of eyeline.
- Path and step-edge walls, spaced to overlap into a continuous run of light.
- Under eaves and in covered alfresco areas — IP54 covers rain and splashing.
- Rendered facades where a small, plain fitting should disappear by day.
Specifying it
The LED is built into the fitting, so there is no globe to buy and no socket to fit. Tri-colour switching is set once at installation across 3000 K, 4000 K and 5500 K. It runs on 240 V AC with the driver inside the fitting, is not dimmable, and CRI is above 80. IP54 means rain and splashing are within scope; it is not a wash-down or in-ground fitting. Finished in white.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You. If you are running several along one elevation, set them all to the same colour temperature before the fittings are closed up — mixed settings on one wall are obvious at night and awkward to correct later.
Questions
Does it need a driver?
No. It runs on 240 V AC with the driver built into the fitting.
Is there a globe to replace?
No. The LED is integrated — no socket, no globe, nothing to replace.
Can it be dimmed?
No. This fitting is not dimmable.
Does it light upwards as well?
No. The Essil is fixed down only. For light in both directions, choose an up/down fitting.
Is IP54 enough outdoors?
IP54 covers rain and splashing, which suits a normal external wall or under-eave position. It is not rated for high-pressure wash-down.
What is the warranty?
Three years, as a replacement warranty.

Warranties, Return & Refund Policy
xWarranties
For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.

- Restocking fee: 20% will apply unless otherwise stated, or unless another order of equal or greater value is placed in lieu of this re-stocking fee.
