Product Description
xCurva in antique brass is the version of this step light chosen for how it ages rather than how it looks new — the finish darkens and mellows with exposure, which suits sandstone, brick and coastal gardens where a crisp painted fitting looks out of place after a season. Behind the frosted glass a 3 W LED delivers 240 lm at 3000K, 245 lm at 4000K and 250 lm at 5500K, which is genuinely useful output for a step light rather than a token marker.
The choice to make: antique brass is a living finish
If you want the fitting to look identical in five years, choose the black or white Curva instead. Antique brass is specified precisely because it will not: it patinates unevenly where hands and weather touch it, and that is the intended effect. Buy the whole run at once so every fitting starts from the same point and ages together.

Specifying it
Rated IP65, so it takes direct rain and hose-down washing in an exposed position. Frosted glass diffuses the LED so the source is not visible from a standing eye line. It is Triac dimmable — use a trailing-edge LED dimmer and check the dimmer's minimum load, because one low-wattage fitting on an oversized dimmer flickers at the bottom of the range.
Curva is a 12 V DC fitting and requires a 12 V DC LED driver; it must never be connected directly to 240 V. Keep every fitting within 25 m of its driver to stay inside the warranty. The LED is built in — no globe is needed or possible. Installation by a licensed electrician.

Questions
Will the antique brass finish change over time?
Yes, and that is the reason to choose it. It darkens and patinates with weather and handling. If you want a finish that stays as-new, the black or white Curva is the better pick.
Does it need a driver, or can it go on mains?
It needs a 12 V DC LED driver. Connecting it directly to 240 V destroys the fitting and voids the warranty.
Can it be dimmed?
Yes, it is Triac dimmable. Use a trailing-edge LED dimmer suited to the low-voltage circuit and confirm the total load meets the dimmer's minimum.
How much light does it actually give?
240 lm at 3000K, 245 lm at 4000K and 250 lm at 5500K from a 3 W LED — bright enough to light the tread itself, not only to mark it.
Can it take direct rain?
Yes. IP65 covers driving rain and hose washing, which is why this one suits open garden steps rather than only covered positions.
Is the maximum distance from the driver a hard limit?
Treat it as one. Havit specifies 25 m; beyond that the voltage at the fitting drops far enough to affect performance and the warranty no longer applies.

Warranties, Return & Refund Policy
xWarranties
For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
