xOnder 316 stainless steel tri-colour LED pond light
The Onder is a submersible pond and water-feature light in 316 stainless steel, rated IP68 — the rating that means continuous immersion rather than mere weather resistance. It is designed to sit in the water and light a feature from below: a spill wall, a fountain, planting at the edge of a pond, or the underside of moving water, where the light source is meant to be invisible and only its effect seen.
The 316 grade of stainless matters more here than it would on a wall fitting. Pond water is not clean water — it carries dissolved minerals, organic acids and whatever treatment chemicals the pond runs on — and 316 is the grade specified for sustained contact with it.
Light output and colour temperature
The Onder is a tri-colour fitting drawing 5W, with the colour temperature selected at installation rather than fixed at manufacture: 3000K, 4000K or 5500K, rated at 270lm, 285lm and 300lm respectively. Colour rendering is 80 CRI or better and the beam is 120°.
Warm 3000K is the usual choice for planting and stonework, where it keeps greens and sandstone looking natural under water. The cooler settings suit moving water and pale surfaces, where a colder light reads as cleaner and picks up movement more sharply. The fitting is not dimmable.
The globe
Unlike a sealed LED fitting, the Onder takes an MR16 LED globe, so the light source is a replaceable component rather than part of the housing. For a fitting that spends its life underwater that is a genuine advantage: the expensive part is the stainless body and its seal, and the part most likely to need attention can be changed without replacing it.
Power and installation
The Onder runs on 12V DC, so it needs a 12V driver on the circuit rather than a mains connection at the fitting. That is what makes a submersible light safe to specify: the wiring in and around the water is low voltage. Installation is still work for a licensed electrician, who will confirm the driver's capacity covers every fitting on the run.
When positioning it, remember that water moves light. A fitting aimed straight up through a disturbed surface throws a pattern that shifts constantly; one aimed across a feature gives a steadier result. It is worth trialling the position before anything is fixed or backfilled.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
