Single Tivah LED Spike Light CCT

Single Tivah is the fully adjustable garden spike light in Havit's range — 90° of tilt and 270° of swivel on a 405 mm spike, the longest stem in this family. That combination is what you buy it for: a tall spike gets the head clear of mulch and ground cover, and the swivel lets you re-aim it a season later when the plant has grown past the beam. Three finishes — black, 316 stainless steel and antique brass — and the choice is a real decision rather than a colour preference, because price and corrosion behaviour differ between them.

The globe: MR16, and it is replaceable

Single Tivah takes an MR16 globe, supplied as a 5 W tri-colour LED. That is the practical advantage over a sealed fitting: when the lamp fails you replace the globe rather than digging out the light. Only an MR16 base will fit — a GU10, an MR11 or a G4 will not, however similar the pin spacing looks. Check the product label for maximum wattage before fitting anything other than the supplied globe. The fitting is not dimmable.

The decision that matters: this is a 12 V fitting

Single Tivah requires a 12 V DC LED driver and must never be connected directly to 240 V, which destroys it instantly and falls outside the warranty. Size the driver for the combined load of the whole run with headroom, not for one light. A 2 metre reinforced tail is supplied.

Where it works

• Uplighting established trees — the 405 mm spike and 90° tilt reach a canopy that a short fitting cannot.
• Deep garden beds with dense ground cover, where a low spike would be buried by the second summer.
• Coastal and waterfront gardens in the 316 stainless steel finish, which is the marine grade.
• Feature walls and rendered piers, aimed with the 270° swivel after the planting is in.

Specifying it

Tri-colour selectable at install, and the product's own ordering table gives identical figures for all three finishes: 270 lm at 3000K, 285 lm at 4000K and 300 lm at 5500K from the 5 W MR16 globe at a 90° beam. Commit to one temperature across the garden; 3000K reads warm on foliage, 5500K crisp on stone. IP65 covers direct rain, sprinklers and hose-down. Antique brass will patinate outdoors — the finish behaving as intended, not a fault. Licensed electrician only.
