Tivah Wall Pillar Light 2Lt TRI Colour

This is the double-adjustable Tivah in solid copper: two independently aimed heads on one backing plate, fed from a single wiring point. Unlike the up/down version, which is fixed at one head up and one down, both heads here tilt through 90° and swivel through 270° — so you can point them at the same target from two angles to kill a shadow, or split them across a wide facade from one cable run.

Read the lumen figures as per head

Havit prints them as 2 × for a reason. Each of the two lamps produces the stated output; the fitting does not concentrate the sum into one beam. Comparing a 2 × 300 lm fitting against a single-head 300 lm fitting on the raw number would flatter the wrong one.

• HV1315T — 240 V GU10 with switchable 9-in-1 globes: 2 × 240–560 lm at 3000K, 2 × 255–595 lm at 4000K, 2 × 270–630 lm at 5500K, stepping through 3 W, 5 W and 7 W per head in a 60° beam.
• HV1317GU10T — 240 V GU10 fixed at 5 W per head: 2 × 270 lm, 2 × 285 lm and 2 × 300 lm across the three temperatures, in a 120° beam.
• HV1317MR16T — the same output and beam on 12 V DC MR16, requiring a driver.

What the copper does

Solid copper is not a finish, it is the material, and it will not stay the colour it arrives in. Outdoors it darkens through browns over the first year and near salt air it eventually turns green. That is the reason people specify it: unlike a coated alloy, which chalks and then looks tired, copper ages into something the client wanted. Havit asks that gloves be worn during installation so finger oils do not print into the surface before it starts to weather.

Specifying it

Both GU10 versions run on 240 V mains as earthed Class 1 fittings. The MR16 version is 12 V DC and needs a driver — and because this fitting carries two lamps, the load on that driver is double a single-head fitting’s, so size it for the total and run several fittings in parallel from one supply if that suits the site. Keep it within 25 m of its driver and the supply within 5% of nominal. Globe ceilings are 35 W per lamp on a 240 V GU10 and 20 W per lamp on a 12 V MR16 — per lamp, not per fitting, so a two-head fitting takes two globes at or under that figure rather than one of twice it. Only HV1315T is Triac dimmable. Colour temperature is set on the globe itself at install rather than chosen at the checkout. IP65 means an exposed pillar is fine.
