A suggestion, not a specification. A calculator can get it wrong — have a licensed electrician confirm the driver, the total load and the wiring before you order.
Titanium is the mid-tone in the Tivah range: a warm grey with a faint bronze cast, darker than the silver and softer than the black. It is the finish that works when the wall is neither pale render nor charcoal brick — brick blends, sandstone, timber cladding, anything with warmth in it. The fitting itself is the fixed-down Tivah, one head on a matching backing plate, permanently aimed at the ground, with a high-output reflector behind the lamp to push light forward instead of letting it scatter inside the housing.
Three part numbers share the body and differ entirely in the lamp:
The 60° and 120° figures come from the globe, not the housing, and they change the character of the installation more than the lumen figure does. A 60° beam draws a distinct arc down the wall — deliberate, architectural, and it shows off texture. A 120° beam washes the whole panel evenly and is the better answer next to a door where you want faces lit rather than brickwork. You can change your mind later by changing the globe, provided you stay under Havit's caps of 35 W on 240 V GU10 and 20 W on 12 V MR16.
The rating is IP65, so this can sit on an unprotected wall with no eave above it. The body is powder-coated aluminium, and Havit excludes aluminium and 304 stainless fittings from sites within 5 km of salt water — a warranty condition, not a suggestion, and the 316 stainless Tivah exists for exactly those addresses. If you run the 12 V version, keep it within 25 m of the driver and hold the supply within ±5% of 12 V.
Wiring is parallel, CRI is above 80, and the warranty is 3 years replacement.
This listing sells more than one supply, and the earthing requirement is not the same on both. Check which part number you are wiring before you start.
A warm mid-grey with a slight bronze undertone — between the silver and the black in the same range. It suits brick, sandstone and timber better than a cool silver does.
At 5500K the switchable globe in HV1185T runs 270 lm to 630 lm across its three wattages, so yes if you want reach. The fixed 5 W globes in the HV1187 variants sit at 300 lm and cannot be raised.
HV1185T only, and only because its supplied 9-in-1 globe is Triac dimmable. The fixed 5 W globes in HV1187GU10T and HV1187MR16T are not dimmable as supplied.
No. HV1187MR16T needs a 12 V DC LED driver of its own. It cannot be connected to mains, and it must sit within 25 m of that driver with the supply held to ±5%.
Not within 5 km of salt water — Havit excludes aluminium bodies there and the warranty does not apply. The 316 stainless Tivah is the version to ask us about.
Yes. The beam belongs to the globe, so swapping to a different GU10 changes it. Stay under 35 W on the 240 V version and 20 W on the 12 V one.
No. IP65 covers dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction, so a fully exposed wall or pillar is within rating.
