HV10592T - Luz Solid Brass TRI Colour Double Up & Down Wall Pillar Lights

The HV10592T is the four-lamp Luz in solid brass — two GU10 globes up, two down, in the wider of the two Luz bodies. It is the flagship of the range and the one where the choice of material is doing most of the work, because the electrical specification is identical to the black and white versions and the price is not.

The material is the reason to buy it

Havit’s siting clause for this range reads: aluminium and 304SS fittings must not be installed within 5 km of any salt water environment. That clause names aluminium and 304 stainless steel. It does not name solid brass — and for a coastal or estuarine address that absence is usually the entire specification argument. We are careful here: no Havit document publishes a salt-water distance for solid brass, so we state the clause’s scope and decline to invent a figure for this fitting in either direction.

Brass has its own conditions instead, and they are published. Solid brass tarnishes naturally outdoors — Havit says so on both of this product’s documents, and it is normal ageing rather than a defect. Havit also asks that gloves be worn during installation so that skin oils do not transfer to the metal and set as marks under the developing patina. On four lamp heads, that is worth remembering before you handle it.

Four lamps, and what they actually give you

Havit supplies four 9-in-1 tri-colour GU10 globes. Output is quoted per lamp: 240–560 lm at 3000K, 255–595 lm at 4000K and 270–630 lm at 5500K, across each globe’s 3 W, 5 W and 7 W settings, and output rises with colour temperature, so 5500K at 7 W is the brightest available. Per lamp that is identical to the two-lamp HV10591T: the four-lamp body covers a wider pier, it does not light the same pier harder. Beam is 60°, from the globe rather than the housing, and Havit presets every fitting to 3000K at 7 W — a warm setting that suits brass particularly well.

Install, sealing and electrical

Fix the backing plate and then seal every hole including the cable entry and screw holes; Havit states that failing to do so voids the warranty, along with a missing seal or o-ring or any modification. Rated IP65 and IK10 behind clear glass, it is 240 V AC mains with no driver or transformer and Class 1, so an earth is required. The four GU10 holders are replaceable to 35 W each, giving 4 × 35 W. Height is 300 mm, with a Ø60 mm aperture at each lamp position and a base plate taking four Ø4 mm fixings around a Ø13 mm cable entry. Width and wall projection are not published, because Havit’s drawing does not label them.
