A suggestion, not a specification. A calculator can get it wrong — have a licensed electrician confirm the driver, the total load and the wiring before you order.
This is the up/down Tivah in textured white: one fitting, two heads, one washing the wall upward and one down, from a single wiring point. It is the shape most people actually picture when they think of a wall light on a pillar — the symmetrical hourglass of light either side of a front door or a gate post — and it produces it without two fittings and two cable runs.
Havit prints them with a 2 × because each of the two lamps produces the stated output. The fitting throws light in two directions rather than concentrating the sum into one, so comparing it against a single-head fitting on the raw number would flatter the wrong one.
On an up/down the beam angle changes the shape of the light more than its brightness. The 60° globes throw two narrow blades that read as a crisp hourglass on a flat wall; the 120° globes spread into two soft fans that overlap on a narrow pillar. On brick or stone the narrow one flatters the texture; on smooth render the wide one avoids a hard edge.
Both GU10 versions wire straight to 240 V mains as earthed Class 1 fittings. The MR16 version is low voltage: it needs a 12 V DC LED driver, and because this fitting carries two lamps the load is double a single-head fitting's — size the driver for the total, keep it within 25 m, and hold the supply inside 5% of nominal or the warranty is void. Globes are replaceable to a ceiling of 35 W per lamp on a 240 V GU10 and 20 W per lamp on a 12 V MR16 — two globes at that figure, not one of twice it. It is IP65, so exposure is fine. One restriction to check first: the body is powder-coated aluminium and Havit excludes sites within 5 km of salt water. All three carry a 3-year replacement warranty, and Lights For You can size a driver for an MR16 run if you tell us how many fittings share it.
One head. Havit writes it as 2 × 300 lm because each of the two lamps produces that figure. We quote it the same way rather than adding them together.
HV1035T only, on a Triac dimmer. HV1037GU10T and HV1037MR16T are not dimmable with the globes supplied.
Size it for two lamps per fitting, then multiply by the number of fittings sharing it. It must be 12 V DC, within 25 m, with the supply inside 5% of nominal.
No. One is fixed up and one fixed down. If you want to aim them, the double adjustable Tivah is the version with 90° tilt and 270° swivel on each head.
35 W per lamp on the 240 V GU10 versions and 20 W per lamp on the 12 V MR16 — two globes at that ceiling, not one of double it.
No. This is powder-coated aluminium and Havit excludes installation within 5 km of salt water. The solid brass, solid copper and 316 stainless Tivahs are the coastal options.
The 120° versions. Two wide fans overlap and wrap a narrow pillar; the 60° version suits a broad flat wall where you want two defined blades of light.
