The Hovin PE58 is a 580 mm minimalist LED pendant in black or white sand — integrated 37 W giving 3,750 lm at 3000 K, TRIAC dimmable, on a 2,000 mm suspension.
⚠ It is not a 58-light pendant. Our page said so, and it has one integrated LED. The 58 is its diameter in centimetres — 580 mm across. The same error appears on the 43 cm version, which our page called a “43-light pendant”.
⚠ And a correction to the figures. The datasheet attached to this product is the 43 cm version's — it records 22 W and 1,760 lm, which are the smaller fitting's numbers.
The data block on this product's own page gives 37 W and 3,750 lm, and those are the figures for the 580 mm fitting. We have published the larger set, because a 580 mm pendant producing the same light as a 430 mm one would be an odd product, and the two sources disagree in exactly the way a mis-attached sheet would predict.
Ask us to confirm before you specify it into a lighting plan.
That is a large output for a decorative pendant. For scale, the 700 mm Astana ceiling light gives 3,850 lm and the 500 mm Thalia oyster 2,790. So the Hovin PE58, hanging over a table, produces about as much light as a large ceiling fitting.
It will light a dining room or a kitchen island on its own — which most decorative pendants in this catalogue will not — and at 101 lm/W it is the most efficient decorative fitting measured in this programme.
That efficiency comes from the form. The Hovin is a flat disc, 60 mm deep, with the LED behind a simple acrylic face — no shade to absorb, no glass to tint, no decorative diffusion. You are paying for light, not for the material it passes through.
An ordinary wall dimmer, full range. At 3,750 lumens over a table, dimming is not a refinement: at full this is a working light, and it needs to come down for a meal. A fitting this bright without a dimmer would be difficult to live with — which is a real problem on several other pendants in this catalogue and not on this one.
The proportion is the design: broad and very shallow. That matters over a table more than it sounds — a disc stays above the sightline between people sitting opposite each other, where a deep pendant of the same width hangs into it.
The sand texture is the right call on a plain form: a gloss disc catches every downlight in the room as a hard highlight on its rim, and a fine textured coat scatters that, so the fitting reads as shape and colour rather than reflection.
Black or white. White disappears against a white ceiling when it is off, so the fitting is only present when it is doing something. Black reads as a deliberate dark disc and holds its own against a dark or timber ceiling — the more graphic choice.
The LED is integrated and included, fixed at 3000 K warm white — nothing to source, nothing to match, nothing to replace, and equally nothing to change. On a fitting this efficient that is a reasonable trade.
⚠ No weight and no material are recorded in our product record, which carries only a warranty, a voltage and an IP rating. The datasheet gives iron and acrylic. On a 580 mm disc on a two-metre suspension the weight is what your electrician needs — ask us before the ceiling is opened.
Class I — earth required, hard-wired with no lead and plug, canopy projection 40 mm, and IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. RCM approved.
580 mm across by 60 mm deep, canopy projection 40 mm, suspension 2,000 mm, weight not recorded — ask us, in iron and acrylic, black or white sand. Integrated 37 W LED giving 3,750 lm at 3000 K, included, TRIAC dimmable. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only, RCM approved. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.

Yes, and unusually so for a decorative pendant. The 700 mm Astana ceiling light gives 3,850 lumens and the 500 mm Thalia oyster 2,790 — so this pendant produces about as much light as a large ceiling fitting, and will carry a dining room or kitchen island on its own.

You want one. At 3,750 lumens over a table, dimming is not a refinement — at full this is a working light and it needs to come down for a meal. It takes an ordinary TRIAC wall dimmer across the full range.
No — at only 60 mm deep it is a disc, so it stays above the line between people sitting opposite each other, where a deep pendant of the same width would hang into it.
White disappears against a white ceiling when it is off, so the fitting is only present when it is doing something. Black reads as a deliberate dark disc and holds its own against a dark or timber ceiling — the more graphic choice.
