Product Description
xHove LED coach wall light in black
The Hove is the largest of Havit's black coach wall lights, built around a Ø255mm body and reaching 470mm across its bracket. Where the panelled lanterns in the range are upright and formal, the Hove is a broader fitting, and at that size it is meant to be seen as an element on the wall rather than a discreet light beside a door — a wide entry, a garage frontage or a rendered pier is its natural setting.
It is a lamped fitting rather than a sealed LED unit, in poly powder coated black aluminium with glass. The light source is visible behind the glazing, which is what gives a coach light its character.
The globe
An E27 globe is required for the fitting to light. Havit rates the Hove with an LED filament globe at 8W and 700lm at 2700K, with colour rendering above 80 CRI. On a fitting this size the warm 2700K matters more than it does on a small lantern: a large glazed body filled with cool white light reads as a commercial fitting, where the same body with a warm filament globe reads as an entry light.
Because the globe is replaceable, the fitting can be re-lamped rather than replaced, and its colour or output changed later without altering the fitting on the wall.
Power, dimming and installation
The Hove runs on 240V AC mains and requires no driver. Havit lists it as Triac dimmable, so a conventional LED-rated wall dimmer is appropriate — with the caveat that the globe does the dimming, so a dimmable globe has to be fitted for the circuit to work as intended.
It is Class 1 and requires an earth connection, so it must be installed by a licensed electrician. Given the size of the body, check the mounting surface and the fixing positions before the cable is set — a fitting of this width is not something to reposition after the fact.
Weather rating and siting
The Hove carries an IP44 rating for splashing water and IK04 for impact. That suits a sheltered wall — under an eave, in a porch, on a protected frontage — rather than one exposed to driven rain from every direction.
Havit also applies a siting condition: aluminium and 304 stainless fittings must not be installed within 5km of any salt water environment. It is a warranty term, and coastal installation is the most frequent reason a claim on an outdoor fitting is declined. Lights For You can suggest an alternative specified for marine conditions if that applies to your site.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
