Product Description
xThe Hollis EX55 is a 550 mm exterior LED wall light in black with a seeded glass diffuser — 10 W giving 500 lm at 3000 K, IP44.
It comes in black only. The old page said “available in both black and white colourways”. Only black is stocked — corrected here so nobody plans a white run they cannot have. If you need white on the same wall, ask us and we will find you an alternative.
Seeded glass, and what it does at night
Seeded glass — sometimes called bubble glass — has air bubbles trapped in it. Lit from within, each bubble becomes a tiny point of brightness, so the fitting reads as textured and alive rather than as a flat panel. On a facade at night that is the difference between a light and a feature: a plain diffuser gives you an even rectangle, seeded glass gives you something to look at.
550 mm tall — a proper vertical
550 mm high by 120 mm wide, projecting 120 mm. That is a tall, narrow column, and it belongs flanking a door where its height relates to the doorway. At 3.87 kg it is a substantial fitting — the wall fixing is worth checking on render or cladding.
IP44 means sheltered, not exposed. Rated against splashing water from any direction — rain reaching a wall, spray off a path. Not rated against jets or heavy driven rain. Telbix records the usage as “Outdoor (Covered)”, and that is exactly right: under an eave, in a porch, on a sheltered courtyard wall. Not on the weather side of the house, and not where a sprinkler hits it.
500 lumens of warm white
10 W giving 500 lm at 3000 K — the seeded glass absorbs some output in exchange for the texture. Enough to light a doorway and the wall around it; not a driveway or a security light. Not dimmable, and Class I — earth required, so a licensed electrician installs it — correctly stated on this page, unlike several plug-in lamps in this range.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
