Highlite LED bollard light — five finishes, two heights, GU10 or MR16

The Highlite bollard sold across its full range: five finishes — white, black, antique brass, titanium and 316 stainless steel — in two body heights, giving ten part numbers on one page.

That breadth is the reason to start here rather than on a single-finish listing. Bollards are bought in runs and matched to what is already on site: brass to gate hardware, 316 stainless to a coastal or poolside setting, black or white to render and paint, titanium where a mid-grey is wanted. Ordering the whole run from one page keeps the part numbers straight.

A lamped fitting — GU10 or MR16

⚠ These bollards take a replaceable globe rather than a built-in LED, and which base depends on the version: GU10 on the 240V mains fittings, MR16 on the 12V low-voltage ones. Havit supplies globes with the fitting and lists it as not dimmable with those globes fitted.

The electrical difference follows the same split and matters more than the base does. The 240V GU10 versions are Class 1 and require an earth connection. The 12V MR16 versions are Class 3, need no earth at the fitting, and do require a 12V driver on the circuit that is not supplied.

Establish which supply the site has before ordering. It is the most common ordering error on a listing that offers both, and it is not visible in the fitting once it arrives.

Output and colour temperature

The fitting is tri-colour, with 3000K, 4000K or 5500K selected at installation rather than fixed at manufacture, drawing 5W and rated at 270lm, 285lm and 300lm respectively. Colour rendering is above 80 CRI.

Because the light source is a replaceable globe, output and colour follow whatever globe is fitted over the life of the bollard — the housing is the part being bought, and it outlasts several generations of lamp.

Build and installation

The Highlite is rated IP54 for dust and splashing water and IK09 for impact, which is a high impact rating for a garden fitting and worth having at bumper height on a driveway edge.

Fix it to a concrete footing or a solid paver rather than into soft ground. Installation is work for a licensed electrician for both supply types.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
