The Harbor is a ø170 mm bollard light in black or silver, rated IP65. Bollards light a path from knee height rather than from above, which is a different job from a wall light or a spike.

IP65 is what a bollard needs

Dust-tight and protected against water jets. A bollard sits at ground level where it gets rained on, watered, splashed with soil and occasionally hosed — IP65 is the rating that survives that, and anything less will not last outdoors at that height.

Light at knee height changes the effect

A bollard puts light onto the path surface and the planting either side, without throwing it into your eyes as you walk toward it. Along a driveway or a garden path, a run of bollards at even spacing gives guidance without the glare of a pole-mounted fitting.

Spacing decides whether it works

Bollards light a limited radius. Roughly 3 m to 4 m apart along a path gives continuous guidance; further and you get isolated pools with dark gaps between, which is worse than no lighting for someone judging their footing.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
