The Hanami PE44 is a 440 mm iron pendant in a satin finish, in six colourways — one E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied.

That determines how the fitting is wired. We have published Class I — earth required, because it is the safer assumption: a fitting wired with an earth it does not need is harmless, and one wired without an earth it does need is not. Ask us before installation and we will have the confirmed answer from Telbix.

Six colourways — and that is genuinely unusual

Orange, green, beige, brass, nickel and black. Almost nothing else in this catalogue offers six, and two of them — orange and green — are colours you simply cannot get on a pendant elsewhere in the range.

That breadth is the point of the Hanami, and it changes how you use it:

  • Match the room, not the light. With six options you can pick up a colour already in the space — a splashback, a joinery front, a rug — rather than defaulting to black or brass.
  • Mix them. Three pendants over an island in three different colours is a deliberate, considered look that a single-finish range cannot give you.
  • The two metals behave differently from the four colours. Brass and nickel reflect and change with the light; the painted satin finishes are matt and constant. Mixing a metal with a colour is usually the more interesting pairing.

Note our variant list spells one of them “Nickle”. It is nickel.

Art Deco and Scandinavian — an odd pairing that works

The description calls it “an elegant blend of Art Deco and Scandi styles”, and that is a real description rather than filler:

  • Art Deco contributes geometry — a defined, symmetrical form with a clear outline, rather than the soft organic shapes of most contemporary pendants.
  • Scandinavian contributes restraint — no ornament, a matt satin surface rather than gloss or plating, and colour used as flat blocks.

The result is a fitting with a strong shape and no decoration, which is why it carries strong colour well: an ornate fitting in orange would be too much, and a plain one is not.

⚠ No dimensions exist in any source beyond the 44 in the name, which is its diameter in centimetres. There is no height, no canopy size, no suspension length and no weight anywhere — the datasheet's dimension block is empty and our record carries none.

On a 440 mm pendant the height and drop decide how it hangs over a table. Ask us before you order and we will get the figures from Telbix.

The globe — and one thing we cannot tell you

One E27 to 25 W, not supplied. ⚠ No source says whether the shade is open at the bottom, which decides what to buy:

  • If the globe shows, buy a decorative LED filament and hang it above eye level.
  • If it is recessed, any warm globe will do and it can hang low.

Ask us before you buy a globe. Either way use warm 2700 K — and note it matters differently by colourway: against brass, cool white reads green; against orange or green paint, cool white makes the colour look dull and chalky, where warm light makes it glow.

Dimming is not recorded in any source. On a fitting that simply holds an E27 it will be globe dependent, as every other E27 fitting in this range is — but we have not asserted it. Ask us if a dimmer is planned.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
