The Hanami PE22 is a 220 mm iron pendant in a satin finish, in six colourways — one E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied.
⚠ Our sources disagree about whether this fitting needs an earth. The datasheet header says Class I — earth required; the data block on our own page says Class II — double insulated.
We have published Class I, as the safer assumption — a fitting wired with an earth it does not need is harmless, and one wired without an earth it does need is not. Ask us before installation and we will have the confirmed answer from Telbix.
At 220 mm the small Hanami is half the diameter of its 440 mm sibling, and that is what it is for:
And it is the size that makes the six colourways genuinely useful. With small pendants you can hang three in three different colours over an island — a deliberate, considered arrangement that no single-finish range can give you, and one that would be overwhelming at 440 mm.
Brass, orange, nickel, green, black and beige. Two of them — orange and green — are colours you cannot get on a pendant elsewhere in this catalogue.
Mixing a metal with a colour across a run is usually the more interesting pairing than either alone. (Our variant list spells one “Nickle”. It is nickel.)
Art Deco gives it a defined, symmetrical form with a clear outline rather than a soft organic shape; Scandinavian gives it no ornament, a matt satin surface, and colour as flat blocks.
That combination is why the Hanami carries strong colour well — an ornate fitting in orange would be too much, and a plain one is not — and it is more noticeable at 220 mm, where the shape is small enough to read as a single clean object.
⚠ No dimensions exist in any source beyond the 22 in the name, which is its diameter in centimetres. There is no height, no canopy size, no suspension length and no weight anywhere.
That matters most if you are hanging a run: the height determines how much drop you need, and without it you cannot set out spacing properly. Ask us before you order — and tell us how many you are hanging, and we will work the layout through.
One E27 to 25 W, not supplied. ⚠ No source says whether the shade is open at the bottom. If the globe shows, buy a decorative LED filament and hang it above eye level; if it is recessed, any warm globe will do and it can hang low. Ask us before you buy one.
Use warm 2700 K either way — and it matters differently by colourway: against brass, cool white reads green; against orange or green paint, cool white makes the colour look dull and chalky, where warm light makes it glow.
⚠ Hanging a run? Buy the globes together, same brand. On small pendants seen at one glance, mismatched globes are immediately obvious — and more so across different shade colours, where each shade already changes the light.
Dimming is not recorded in any source. On an E27 fitting it will be globe dependent, as every other E27 fitting here is, but we have not asserted it. Ask us if a dimmer is planned.
IP20 — indoor and dry locations only, hard-wired with no lead and plug. In iron, satin. RCM approved.

Because it works in numbers. A run of three or five small pendants along a bench reads as rhythm, where a row of 440 mm ones reads as a lid — and it is the size that makes the six colourways genuinely useful, since three in three different colours over an island is a considered arrangement that would be overwhelming at 440.
Six — brass, orange, nickel, green, black and beige. Orange and green are colours you cannot get on a pendant elsewhere in this catalogue. Note that brass and nickel are metals, so they reflect and change with the light, while the four painted satin finishes are matt and constant; mixing a metal with a colour is usually the more interesting pairing. Our variant list spells one “Nickle”; it is nickel.
