The Halifax PE35 is a 350 mm pendant in bronze with amber glass — 15 W giving 370 lm, with switchable 3000 K / 4000 K / 5000 K and TRIAC dimming, on a 2,000 mm suspension.
⚠ This is a dim pendant, and you should know that before you buy. 370 lm from 15 W is about a quarter of what an LED normally delivers per watt. It is not a fault and not a typo — the amber glass absorbs the difference, and the 500 mm Halifax runs at exactly the same efficiency, which confirms it. Buy the Halifax for the amber glow, not to light a room, and plan other light in the space.
Tinted amber glass does two things: it warms every colour temperature that passes through it, and it absorbs a large share of the output. Those are the same fact seen twice. What you get is a deep golden light and a lit object you can look at — which is why it belongs over a bar, a hallway console or beside a stair, and not over a kitchen bench.
3000 K, 4000 K and 5000 K, switchable. Through amber glass the difference is subtler than usual: 3000 K goes deep gold, 5000 K comes back towards honey rather than white. Useful, but do not expect a cool pendant at any setting.
It does dim, from an ordinary leading-edge wall dimmer — no remote and no app. On a fitting bought for atmosphere that is exactly right, and it makes the low output far less of a limitation: a dimmed amber pendant is the point.
It is Class I — earth required. Hard-wired to a 150 mm canopy on a 2,000 mm adjustable suspension. A licensed electrician installs it.
350 mm wide by 112 mm high. The larger Halifax is 500 mm at 810 lm. Use the 350 in a run of two or three over a bench or a bar, and the 500 alone over a table.
350 mm wide by 112 mm high, canopy 150 mm by 40 mm, suspension 2,000 mm and adjustable, black cable, in iron and amber glass, bronze. Integrated 15 W LED giving 370 lm, included, with switchable 3000 K / 4000 K / 5000 K, CRI >80, TRIAC dimmable. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Yes, and it is worth explaining. That is about a quarter of what an LED normally gives per watt, because the amber glass absorbs the difference. The 500 mm Halifax runs at exactly the same efficiency, which confirms it is the glass and not a fault.
