Product Description
xThe Gilson is a 615 mm LED vanity light with the LED built in — deeper than the slim Foley and Arvin bars at 60 mm high with an 80 mm projection, and considerably brighter for its length.
1,270 lm from 615 mm
The comparable 600 mm Foley gives 641 lm; the Gilson gives 1,270 lm — almost double, from the same 12 W. If you want a narrow-vanity fitting that actually lights a face properly, this is the one in the range.
Deeper profile, more presence
At 60 mm high it reads as a fitting rather than a line drawn on the wall. That suits a bathroom where the vanity light is meant to be seen — and it is the wrong choice if you want the light source to disappear, in which case the 25 mm Arvin is the alternative.
IP44 and 3 CCT
Rated IP44 for splashing — the requirement above a basin, with your electrician confirming the wiring zone. Colour temperature is set at installation across 3000 K, 4000 K or 5000 K; 4000 K is usually right over a mirror.

Specifying it
615 mm wide, 60 mm high, projecting 80 mm, in aluminium and polycarbonate. Built-in 12 W LED giving 1,270 lm. Not dimmable. 240 V, IP44, Class I — an earth is required. Antique gold, black or chrome. Warranty is three years.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You. Being non-dimmable and bright, give it its own switch rather than a shared dimmed circuit.

How bright is it?
1,270 lm from 12 W — almost double the comparable 600 mm Foley, which gives 641 lm.
How does it compare to the Arvin?
The Gilson is deeper at 60 mm high and reads as a fitting; the Arvin is 25 mm and nearly disappears. Choose by whether you want the light seen.
Can it go in a bathroom?
Yes. It is IP44 — protected against splashing. Your electrician confirms the wiring zone.
Which colour temperature should I choose?
4000 K is usually right over a mirror. It is set at installation.
Do I need a globe?
No. The LED is built in and supplied.
Is it dimmable?
No. Give it its own switch.
What is the warranty?
Three years, as a replacement warranty.

xWarranties
For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
