Gevet 90Cm Exterior Wall Light

The Gevet EX90 is a 900 mm exterior wall bar — 36 W for 1,980 lm at CRI 86, IP65 — the largest of three, in black.

Nine hundred millimetres, and genuinely exposed-rated

This is a near-metre vertical line of light on a facade, and unlike most large exterior fittings it is IP65 — dust tight and protected against water jets from any direction. So it can go on an open wall in the weather, not just under an eave. Very few fittings this size in this catalogue can.

The range is three sizes on one profile

30, 50 and 90 cm — all 98 mm wide with the same 144 mm projection. That is the useful part: you can mix sizes down a single facade and they read as one system, because the width and the depth never change. Only the length does.

It scales honestly

30 cm at 760 lm, 50 cm at 1,512 lm, 90 cm at 1,980 lm. More length genuinely gives more light — which is not true of every range in this catalogue. Note that the 90 is slightly less efficient than the two smaller sizes (55 lm/W against 63), so two 50s give more light than one 90 if output rather than presence is the goal.

CRI 86 on an exterior fitting

Above the usual exterior grade. On a fitting whose job is washing a facade, colour accuracy is what keeps brick, render and timber looking like themselves rather than grey.

Aluminium and polycarbonate

Metal where it needs strength, plastic where it needs to resist weather — so nothing rusts. On a coastal or high-rainfall site that combination outlasts painted steel by years.

3000 K, warm and fixed

No colour selection and no dimming. Warm white flatters the materials it washes; a cool white would make render and brick look cold.

900 mm high, 98 mm wide, 144 mm projection, in aluminium and polycarbonate, black. Integrated 36 W LED giving 1,980 lm at 3000 K, included, CRI 86. Not dimmable. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP65 — dust tight and water-jet protected. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
