Product Description
xThe Genaro W115 is a 1,150 mm LED batten ceiling light in white — 18 W giving 2,200 lm, with switchable 3000 K / 4000 K / 5700 K.
Our datasheet says 3,960 lumens. It gives 2,200. At 18 W, 3,960 lm would be 220 lm/W, which no LED fitting achieves — the best complete fittings reach about 130. 2,200 lm is 122 lm/W, which is high but attainable for a batten holding CRI at 80. If you were comparing battens on output, compare again at 2,200.
2,200 lumens from 18 watts — genuinely efficient
For scale, the Anka batten in this range gives 1,600 lm from the same 18 W — but at CRI above 90. The Genaro gives nearly 40% more light at CRI above 80. That is the trade, and it is a real choice rather than one product being better:
- Genaro — more light per watt. For garages, laundries, storerooms and hallways, where quantity is what you want.
- Anka — better colour. For workshops and laundries where you match colours or work on things you need to see properly.
5700 K at the top — cooler than most
3000 K warm, 4000 K natural, 5700 K daylight. That top setting is colder than the usual 5000 K and closer to true daylight. In a garage or a workshop that is exactly right — cool light looks brighter for the same lumens and sharpens contrast. In a hallway or a kitchen it will read institutional, so use 3000 K there.
1,150 mm long, 160 mm wide, 63 mm deep
A substantial batten — considerably wider than the 60 mm Anka, because this one carries two LED sections rather than one strip. At 2.49 kg in a steel (SPCC) body with a polycarbonate diffuser, it is built as a working fitting rather than a slim decorative one.
It is Class I — earth required, unlike the Anka batten, which is Class II and needs no earth. Worth telling your electrician, because it changes what the circuit needs. Not dimmable; the switch changes colour, not level. IP20 — indoor and dry locations only, so not a carport or an open shed.

How cold is 5700K?

Can I put it in a carport?
No — IP20 is indoor and dry locations only. A carport or an open shed needs a weather-rated fitting.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
