Product Description
xThe Frya is an 1,800 mm floor lamp with a hand-woven natural rattan bell shade on a white iron base.
Hand-woven rattan does something glass cannot
Light passing through a woven shade is patterned — it throws the weave onto the ceiling and the nearby wall. That texture is the entire reason to buy a rattan shade, and it is why the globe you choose matters: a clear globe sharpens the pattern, a frosted one softens it to a glow.
1,800 mm is a tall lamp
The wide bell sits well above head height, so it reads as a canopy over a seating area rather than as a lamp beside a chair. It needs the ceiling height and the floor space — in a small room the bell will dominate.
Natural material means natural variation
Every shade is woven by hand, so colour and weave tension differ slightly between pieces. That is the nature of rattan, not a fault. It also means the shade is light — the weight in this lamp is all in the iron base.
It takes a globe you buy
One E27 globe up to 25 W, not supplied. There is no built-in LED, despite what this page previously claimed. That is an advantage here: you choose whether the weave pattern is sharp or soft.

What does a rattan shade actually do to the light?
It throws the weave pattern onto the ceiling and nearby walls. A clear globe sharpens that pattern; a frosted one softens it to a glow.

No. One E27 globe up to 25 W, supplied separately. There is no built-in LED, despite an earlier version of this page.
How tall is it?

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
