Product Description
xThe Fergus is a 545 mm two-light outdoor wall lantern in black with clear glass, rated IP44.
545 mm is a large lantern
That is well above the typical 300–400 mm exterior wall light, so it holds its own beside a wide front door, a garage or a double-height entry. On a narrow porch it will look oversized — measure the wall before committing.
Clear glass shows the globes
Clear glass means the globes are visible and are part of the look. Fit decorative filament E14 globes and the lantern reads as traditional; fit plain frosted ones and it looks unfinished. This is a fitting where the globe choice is a design decision, not just a wattage one.
IP44 is splash protection, not weatherproofing
IP44 handles rain and splashing from any direction — correct for an exterior wall, an entry or a porch. It is not rated for direct hosing or for a coastal salt-spray position. Keep it on a wall, not on a post in the open.
Two E14 globes at 40 W each
Globes are not supplied. Note the base: E14 small Edison screw, not the more common E27. Buy both together so the pair matches — behind clear glass, two mismatched globes are obvious.

Supplied and supported by Lights For You. For a fully exposed or coastal position, ask us about an IP54 or IP65 exterior fitting instead.
Questions
How exposed a position can it take?
IP44 handles rain and splashing — a wall, entry or porch. It is not rated for direct hosing or coastal salt spray. Ask us about IP54 or IP65 for those.
What globes does it take?
Two E14 small Edison screw globes, 40 W maximum each, not supplied. E14 is not the same as the more common E27.
Which globes look right?
Decorative filament ones. The glass is clear, so the globes are visible — plain frosted globes make it look unfinished.
How big is it?
545 mm high by 230 mm wide — larger than a typical exterior wall light, so measure the wall first.
Is it available in other finishes?
No. Black with clear glass is the only version stocked.
Do I need an electrician?
Yes — it is a hard-wired exterior fitting.
What is the warranty?

xWarranties
For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.

- Restocking fee: 20% will apply unless otherwise stated, or unless another order of equal or greater value is placed in lieu of this re-stocking fee.
