Favo LED floodlight in grey — 14W or 24W

The Favo is a compact utility floodlight in grey poly powder coated aluminium, sold here in two sizes on one listing: HV3721N-GRY at 13.7W producing 2200lm, and HV3722N-GRY at 24W producing 3000lm. Both run on 240V mains.

Those output figures are the notable part. At 2200lm from 13.7W, the Favo is doing considerably more per watt than a typical decorative floodlight — this is a working fitting aimed at lighting an area properly rather than accenting a garden. The grey finish says the same thing: it is made to disappear against concrete, colorbond and rendered commercial walls rather than to be a feature.

Fixed 4000K — and why that suits it

Unlike the tri-colour fittings elsewhere in Havit's range, the Favo is a fixed 4000K fitting. There is no colour selection to make at installation.

For a utility floodlight that is the sensible specification rather than a limitation. 4000K is the neutral white that renders surfaces, vehicles and signage accurately without the blue cast that makes a yard look like a car park, and without the warmth that makes a working area feel dim. Colour rendering is above 80 CRI. The fitting is not dimmable.

Choosing between the two sizes

Take the 13.7W version for a single bay, a doorway, a bin store, a side access or a small yard. Take the 24W version where the area is genuinely large — a full driveway, a loading area, a workshop frontage, a car park bay.

Both are the same physical fitting at 222mm by 141mm, so the choice is purely about output rather than about how it looks on the wall. Over-specifying is the more common error: a floodlight brighter than the area needs produces glare and complaints rather than better visibility.

Power, rating and installation

The Favo runs on 240V AC mains with no driver required. It is a Class 1 fitting and requires an earth connection, so installation is work for a licensed electrician.

It is rated IP54, which covers dust and splashing water. That is a lower rating than some exterior floodlights carry, so it belongs under an eave, on a sheltered wall or beneath an overhang rather than on a fully exposed face taking driven rain. Havit also states that aluminium and 304 stainless fittings must not be installed within 5km of any salt water environment. Rated lamp expectancy is >30,000 hrs and the LED is built in — there is no globe to buy or replace.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the two part numbers?

Output. HV3721N-GRY is 13.7W at 2200lm; HV3722N-GRY is 24W at 3000lm. The body is the same.

Can I choose the colour temperature?

No. The Favo is a fixed 4000K fitting.

Can it go on a fully exposed wall?

It is rated IP54 for dust and splashing water, so a sheltered position is appropriate rather than a face taking driven rain directly.

Does it have a sensor?

No. This is the plain version — a sensor version of the Favo is sold on its own listing.

Does it need an earth?

Yes. It is a Class 1 fitting on 240V AC mains.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
