The Farnix PE06 is a six-light pendant with curved arms and tapered fabric shades in antique gold or nickel matt — six E14 globes to 25 W each, not supplied, on a 1,500 mm suspension.
⚠ Check the width with us before you order. Our records give this six-light as 1,030 mm wide and the four-light as 1,220 mm — so on paper the larger fitting is the narrower one.
The likeliest explanation is arrangement: six arms gathered into a circle occupy less width than four spread along an axis. But it inverts what anyone would assume, and on a fitting over a metre across the width decides whether it fits. We have asked Telbix and will confirm before you commit.
What is not in doubt: this one has six lights to the other's four — 150 W maximum against 100 W — so it is the brighter and denser of the two, whatever the footprint turns out to be.
The Farnix's character is the sweep of the arms and the taper of the shades — a traditional language handled lightly, where straight arms and cylindrical shades would read purely contemporary. At six, the arms form a fuller, more chandelier-like mass than the four-light's, which is the real difference between them.
The fabric shades are opaque: each throws light down and up and none sideways into anyone's eyes. With six sources over a dining table, that is what keeps it comfortable to sit under — six visible filaments at eye level would not be.
Six E14 to 25 W each — 150 W total, not supplied. E14 is the small screw base, SES. (Our page called it “ES”, which is the larger E27. It is E14.)
Because the fabric hides every globe, brightness and warmth are the only decisions — and on a six-globe fitting, not having to match them visually saves real trouble. Use warm 2700 K: against antique gold, cool white reads green.
Dimming depends on the globes. Our record says “No”; the datasheet and our page both say globe dependent, and they are right. Six LEDs on one dimmer is the hardest flicker case in this range — do not mix brands. Ask us for a matched set of six.
It needs height. Over a standard 2.4-metre ceiling the suspension will be shortened at installation; over a stairwell or a double-height room the full drop is what it is designed for.
⚠ No weight is recorded for a six-light iron and fabric fitting over a metre across — and this is the heavier of the two Farnix pendants by construction. Your electrician needs that figure. Ask us before the fixing is chosen.
Farnix is also made as a wall light in the same language — though it projects 254 mm, the deepest in this catalogue, so check the position first.
Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only, in iron and fabric, gloss.
1,030 mm wide as recorded — confirm with us, by 752 mm high, canopy 120 mm, suspension 1,500 mm, in iron and fabric, antique gold or nickel matt. Weight is not recorded — ask us. Six E14 (SES) globes to 25 W each — 150 W total, not supplied; dimming is globe dependent. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.

Our records say no — 1,030 mm against the four-light’s 1,220 mm, which inverts what anyone would assume. With the right globes. Our record says “No”; the datasheet and our page both say globe dependent, and they are right. Six LEDs on one dimmer is the hardest flicker case in this range — do not mix brands, and ask us for a matched set of six.
No — the fabric shades are opaque, so each throws light down and up and none sideways. Six visible filaments at eye level would be uncomfortable; six shaded sources are not.
752 mm of fitting plus 1,500 mm of suspension. Over a standard 2.4-metre ceiling the drop will be shortened at installation; over a stairwell or double-height room the full length is what it is designed for.
Not recorded — and this is the heavier of the two Farnix pendants by construction. Your electrician needs that figure; ask us before the fixing is chosen.
Six arms make a fuller, more chandelier-like mass, and 150 W maximum against 100. That density is the real difference — the footprint is the figure we are confirming.
