Product Description
xThe Farnix PE04 is a four-light pendant with curved arms and tapered fabric shades in antique gold or nickel matt — four E14 globes to 25 W each, not supplied, on a 1,500 mm suspension.
⚠ Check the width with us before you order. Our records give the four-light as 1,220 mm wide and the six-light as 1,030 mm — so on paper the smaller fitting is the wider one.
That is not impossible: a four-arm layout spread along an axis is genuinely wider than six arms gathered into a circle, and that is the likeliest explanation. But it inverts what anyone would assume, and on a fitting over a metre across the width is the number that decides whether it fits your table. We have asked Telbix, and we will confirm the figure for you before you commit.
Four tapered shades on curved arms
The Farnix's character is in the curve. Straight arms give a geometric, contemporary fitting; the Farnix's arms sweep, and the shades are tapered rather than cylindrical, which is a distinctly traditional language handled lightly.
The fabric shades do the practical work: they are opaque, so each throws light down onto the table and up onto the ceiling and none sideways into anyone's eyes. On a fitting with four sources at eye level over a dining table, that is what makes it comfortable to sit under.
Four globes, and the shades make it easy
Four E14 to 25 W each — 100 W total, not supplied. E14 is the small screw base, SES — a candle or golf-ball globe. (Our page called it “ES”, which is the larger E27 base. It is E14.)
Because the fabric shades hide the globes completely, brightness and warmth are the only decisions — no decorative filaments needed, and the four need not match visually. Use warm 2700 K: against antique gold, cool white reads green.
Dimming depends on the globes. Our record says “No”; the datasheet and our own page both say globe dependent, and they are right — nothing in a fitting holding four E14s prevents it. Over a dining table it is worth having, and four LEDs on one dimmer want to be the same brand. Ask us for a matched set of four.
Over a metre wide, and 764 mm deep
This is a large fitting. At 764 mm from canopy to the bottom of the shades, plus 1,500 mm of suspension, it needs height as well as width — and on a standard 2.4-metre ceiling the suspension will be shortened at installation, which is routine but worth flagging in advance.
⚠ No weight is recorded for a fitting over a metre across in iron and fabric. On something this size that is the figure your electrician needs. Ask us before the fixing is chosen.
Antique gold or nickel matt
- Antique gold — warmer and more traditional. It sits with timber, brass hardware and warm paint, and it reads as the feature of the room.
- Nickel matt — understated and modern. The matt surface is the point: on curved arms, a gloss finish would carry a hard highlight along every sweep, and matt lets the shape read instead.
The Farnix is also made as a wall light, in the same curved-arm language — though note it projects 254 mm, the deepest wall light in this catalogue, so check the position before pairing them.

How wide is it?
Our records give 1,220 mm — which makes the four-light wider than the six-light’s 1,030 mm. For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
