The Farnix PE10 is a ten-light pendant with curved arms and tapered fabric shades in antique gold or nickel matt — ten E14 globes to 25 W each, not supplied, 1,515 mm wide by 833 mm high, on a 1,500 mm suspension.
This is a very large fitting. Measure before you order. At a metre and a half across and 833 mm deep, the Farnix PE10 is the widest pendant in this catalogue and it needs a long table and real ceiling height to make sense. In an ordinary room it will not merely dominate — it will not fit.
Suited to: a long formal dining table, a double-height entry, a function or boardroom table, or a large open-plan space where a fitting has to hold its own against the volume.
A note on the range's widths, because they surprise people (and they surprised us):
| Order code | Lights | Width | Height |
|---|---|---|---|
| PE10 | 10 | 1,515 mm | 833 mm |
| PE04 | 4 | 1,220 mm | 764 mm |
| PE06 | 6 | 1,030 mm | 752 mm |
The six-light is the narrowest of the three — narrower than the four. The four and the ten scale together as a pair; the six sits well inside both.
The likeliest explanation is arrangement: the four and ten spread along an axis, while the six is gathered into a circle — and a circle of six occupies less width than a line of four. We have asked Telbix to confirm, and we will send you the arrangement before you commit. Do not choose a Farnix on light count alone: on this range, the number of lights does not tell you the footprint.
The Farnix's character is the sweep of the arms and the taper of the shades — a traditional language handled lightly. At ten lights it becomes a full chandelier rather than a pendant: a substantial composed mass, not an object hanging over a table.
The fabric shades do the practical work. They are opaque, so each throws light down onto the table and up onto the ceiling and none sideways into anyone's eyes. With ten sources at eye level over a dining table, that is the entire reason it is comfortable to sit under — ten visible filaments would not be.
Ten E14 to 25 W each — 250 W total, not supplied. E14 is the small screw base, SES. (Our page called it “ES”, which is the larger E27 base. It is E14.)
Because the fabric hides every globe, brightness and warmth are the only decisions — and on a ten-globe fitting, not having to match them visually saves real trouble and real money. Use warm 2700 K: against antique gold, cool white reads green.
With LED candles at 4 to 6 W the real draw is around 50 W — a fifth of the 250 W rating — so the fitting runs cool and sits well inside its limit.
Dimming depends on the globes. Our record says “No”; the datasheet and page both say globe dependent, and they are right. Ten LEDs on one dimmer is the hardest flicker case in this catalogue — do not mix brands. Ask us for a matched set of ten.
⚠ No weight is recorded for a 1.5-metre, ten-light iron and fabric chandelier. That is the single most important missing figure on this product: a fitting of this scale is a structural fixing, not a hook, and your electrician needs the number before the ceiling is opened. Ask us and we will get it from Telbix.
The Farnix is also made as a wall light, in the same language — though note it projects 254 mm, one of the deepest here, so check the position before pairing them.
Class I — earth required, canopy 120 mm, suspension 1,500 mm, and IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. In iron and fabric, gloss.

Almost certainly because of arrangement. Across three sizes the four and ten scale together — 1,220 and 1,515 mm — while the six sits at 1,030, well inside both. That is what two spread arrangements and one gathered circle look like in a dimension table: a circle of six occupies less width than a line of four. We have asked Telbix to confirm, and we will send you the arrangement before you commit. Do not choose a Farnix on light count alone.

No. That is the maximum, from when ten globes meant ten incandescent lamps. With LED candles at 4 to 6 watts the real draw is around 50 W — a fifth of the rating — and the fitting runs cool.
