EOS II EXTERIOR 2 WALL LIGHT

The EOS2 EX2 is a 160 mm up-and-down exterior wall light — two GU10 lamps, IP54, in polycarbonate — in black or white.

Built for salt air

The EOS2 is polycarbonate rather than metal, and that is the specification that matters within a few kilometres of the sea. Nothing corrodes — no rust bleeding down the render, no fixings weeping after two summers, no bubbling paint. Painted aluminium is fine inland; on a coastal wall, plastic wins.

Up and down, from a slim body

70 mm wide, 160 mm tall, 92 mm projection, at 0.32 kg. Two lamps firing in opposite directions give one column of light up the wall and one down — the architectural effect that grazes render or brick and shows its texture, rather than flooding the garden.

The lamps are not included — which is useful

Two GU10 to 6 W each, 12 W total, supplied separately. That means you choose the colour temperature and the beam angle — narrow for a tight architectural column, wide for a softer wash — and you can change your mind later. A sealed-LED fitting gives you no such choice, and fails as a whole unit.

Double insulated

Class II — no earth required, unusual outdoors, meaning fewer connections to make and fewer to corrode.

There is a single-light version

EOS2 is made as a single and this up-down pair, both in black and white. Mix them along a facade and they still read as one family.

• Covered entries and porches.
• Rendered and brick facades, grazing the surface.
• ⚠ Under cover — ask us for IP65 if exposed.
