Elson 6 Pendant Light

The Elson PE06 is a 1,200 mm six-light pendant on a slender central rod — six G9 globes at 6 W each, 36 W total, not supplied — in black or antique gold with a choice of six glass finishes.

A vertical rod, not a horizontal bar — and that decides where it goes

This is the thing to understand about the Elson. The six lights are arranged along a slender central rod running 1,200 mm downward, not spread across a horizontal frame. So it is a column of light, not a row — which makes it a stairwell, void and entry fitting, seen from more than one level, and wrong over a dining table, where it would hang into the middle of everything.

Six glass shades, and they swap

The same interchangeable system as the Felton and Gaston ranges:

• Opal Matt — fully diffusing, hides the globes. Softest and most even, and on a fitting seen from below and from a landing, the one that never glares.
• Frost Tear — frosted teardrop; diffuse, brighter than opal.
• Smoke and Smoke Tear — grey-tinted, darker.
• Amber Tear — warm-tinted, the warmest of the six.
• Clear Prism — faceted; sparkles and throws patterns, and shows all six globes. In a stairwell that is a real effect — and it means buying six decorative G9s.

Twelve variants: two frames × six glasses.

265 mm wide — narrow for its height

120 mm shades on a 265 mm overall width, over 1,200 mm of drop, on a 2,000 mm adjustable suspension and a 120 mm canopy. That narrowness is what lets a 1.2-metre fitting hang in a stairwell void without filling it.

1,200 mm high by 265 mm wide, shades 120 mm, canopy 120 mm with a 25 mm projection, suspension 2,000 mm and adjustable, in iron and glass, polished. Six G9 globes at 6 W each — 36 W total, not supplied; dimming is globe dependent. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
