Elanza Close to Ceiling Light

The Elanza is a close-to-ceiling fitting in two sizes — ø400 mm and ø600 mm — built from hand screen-printed glass leaves, amber beading and clear optic crystal over a stainless steel plate.

The steel plate is doing real work

The stainless steel ceiling plate sits behind the glass and reflects the light back down through it. That is why the fitting reads as bright and animated rather than as a dim cluster of crystal — the plate roughly doubles what you see.

Hand screen-printed, so no two are identical

The glass leaves are printed by hand and beaded with amber jubes before the clear optic shapes are draped over them. That combination — warm amber against cool clear crystal — is what separates this from a plain crystal fitting, and it means small variations between pieces are inherent.

Close to ceiling, so it suits ordinary heights

Like the Savina, this hugs the ceiling rather than hanging from it. A ø600 mm crystal fitting is a chandelier's presence at a standard 2.4 m ceiling height, which a chandelier could not manage.

G9 globes, not supplied

G9 capsules, which are small bi-pin globes — not interchangeable with anything else. Buy them all from one batch: behind clear crystal, a mismatched globe shows immediately.

Where it works

• Entry halls and stairwell landings.
• Formal dining rooms with standard ceilings.
• Large bedrooms, as the single statement fitting.
• Where a chandelier is wanted but there is no height for one.

ø400 mm (140 W total) or ø600 mm (280 W total), in glass, stainless steel and beading. G9 globes, not supplied — quantity to be confirmed. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years.
