This is a 5 W E27 T30 tubular filament LED globe in clear glass, giving 400–440 lm over a 360-degree beam — TRIAC dimmable — in 2400 K ultra-warm or 4000 K natural white.
It is a 5-watt globe, not 8. Our product title says 8 W. The SKU itself reads T305 — T30, five watts — and the datasheet, our record and the specification table all say 5 W. Only the title is wrong, and we are correcting it. If you compared this against another globe on wattage, compare again at 5.
You do not need an electrician. It is a light globe. Our page said “this fitting must be installed by a licensed electrician”. You screw it in.
Most “warm white” globes are 2700 or 3000 K. At 2400 K this one is warmer still — the amber, slightly golden light of an old filament lamp rather than a modern LED. In a clear glass tube where the filament is visible, that is exactly right: a cool filament looks wrong, and a 2400 K one looks like the real thing.
The 4000 K variant is a different product in the same body — crisp natural white, for a visible-filament look in a modern or working space rather than a nostalgic one.
Clear glass, T30 tube shape, 30 mm wide by 110 mm high. The filament is the decoration, so this globe belongs in fittings that show it: open pendants, cage shades, exposed batten holders, clear glass shades. In a solid or opal shade you are paying for a detail nobody will see.
The filament runs the length of the tube, so light goes evenly in every direction — no dark side. In an open pendant seen from all around, a globe with a directional pattern looks patchy; this one does not.
TRIAC dimmable — the ordinary leading-edge wall dimmer. On a visible-filament globe dimming does more than lower the light: at low output the filament itself becomes the thing you see, which is the whole reason to buy a clear tube rather than an opal globe.
Output differs slightly between the two colours. The datasheet gives 400–440 lm as a range and our record gives a flat 400. The two variants almost certainly sit at either end of that. It is a small difference and we would rather state it than round it away — ask us if you need the exact figure for one colour.
Rated life. At three hours a day that is about eighteen years. On a decorative globe in a visible fitting, that matters more than usual: replacing it means getting the same look back, and you will not be doing it often.
T30 tube shape, 30 mm wide by 110 mm high, E27 screw base, clear glass. 5 W giving 400–440 lm at 2400 K ultra-warm or 4000 K natural white, CRI >80, 360° beam, TRIAC dimmable, rated 20,000 hours. 240 V, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. No installation required — it is a globe. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.

Five. Our product title says 8 W, and it is the only source that does — the SKU reads T305, and the datasheet, our record and the specification table all say 5 W. We are correcting the title. If you compared it against another globe on wattage, compare again at 5.
No. It is a light globe — you screw it in. Our page said an electrician was required, which is wrong.
Warmer than most “warm white” globes, which sit at 2700 or 3000 K. 2400 K is the amber, slightly golden light of an old filament lamp — which in a clear tube with a visible filament is exactly right.
2400 K for a nostalgic, amber filament look; 4000 K for a crisp modern one. They are the same body doing two quite different jobs.
Anything that shows the filament — open pendants, cage shades, exposed batten holders, clear glass shades. In a solid or opal shade you are paying for a detail nobody will see.
Yes — the filament runs the length of the tube, so light goes evenly all round with no dark side. In an open pendant seen from all around, a globe with a directional pattern looks patchy; this one does not.
Between 400 and 440, depending on colour. The datasheet gives it as a range and our record gives a flat 400; the two variants almost certainly sit at either end. Ask us if you need the exact figure for one colour.
