An E14 G45 filament globe in clear glass — 4 W for 400 lm at 3000 K, TRIAC dimmable.
You can change this yourself. It is a globe. The old page ended with a line saying it “must be installed by a licensed electrician” — boilerplate that belonged to a light fitting.
G45 is the small round “fancy round” shape on an E14 small screw base — the combination used across chandeliers, multi-arm pendants, wall brackets and the E14 fittings throughout this range: the Monte, Shiron, Velden, Pelion and Eamon families all take E14. If you have one of those with visible globes, this is the globe.
In an open frame where the globe is visible, a clear filament is the whole point — it gives the fitting something to look at rather than a blank white ball. If your shades are opal or fabric, do not pay for this one; nobody will ever see it, and a plain globe does the same job.
TRIAC (leading-edge). Run at full output a filament globe looks like any other light; run low, it glows amber the way the incandescents it imitates did. That is the effect people are actually buying, and it only exists on a dimmer. Check compatibility with us if yours is trailing-edge or smart.
100 lumens per watt. On a five or six-arm chandelier, five of these draw 20 W in total against 125 W of old candle globes. Buy every globe for one fitting in the same order — across visible globes in a row, one different white is the only thing anyone looks at.
78 mm high, 0.08 kg, glass and aluminium. It fits the small holders that E14 fittings use.
78 mm high, 0.08 kg, in glass and aluminium, clear. E14 base, 4 W giving 400 lm at 3000 K, CRI >80, dimmable — TRIAC. 240 V, IP20 — indoor use. Warranty is three years.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
No — it is a globe. The old page carried a line saying otherwise, which was boilerplate meant for a light fitting.
Anything with an E14 small screw base and visible globes — the Monte, Shiron, Velden, Pelion and Eamon families all use E14.
Only if the globes are visible. Behind opal or fabric shades nobody will ever see it, and a plain globe does the same job for less.
Yes, on a TRIAC (leading-edge) dimmer — and that is what makes a filament globe worth having. Run low it glows amber the way incandescents did; at full output it looks like any other light.
Five of these total 20 W, against 125 W of old candle globes.
Please do not. Across visible globes in a row, one different white is the only thing anyone looks at. Buy them in one order.
78 mm high — sized for the small holders E14 fittings use.
