The Domus TRAK 3-Circuit Track is a 3 metre surface-mounted track — 3 circuits on 4 wires, 240 V, in black or white.
⭐ The family description notes the system is designed for easy ceiling or wall mounting. ⭐⭐ WALL-MOUNTED TRACK IS UNDERUSED AND WORTH CONSIDERING. ⭐ A track run along a wall above a display, with heads aimed outward, lights the merchandise from the front rather than from above — which for shelving is often better, because overhead light leaves the lower shelves in shadow. ⭐ It also puts the fittings within reach for re-aiming. ⚠ The trade is that the track and heads are at eye level and firmly visible, so the finish matters more.
⛔ No datasheet is attached, and no current rating, conductor size, weight or head-load limit is published. ⭐ For a track system those are the specifications. ⚠ The related accessories in this family hold a sheet flagged contradicted that describes the track generally. ⭐ The record's own voltage is corroborated by the title and the family description, and is what we have published. ⭐ Ask us for the ratings before specifying a long or heavily-loaded run.

3-circuit 4-wire surface-mounted track, 3 metres, 240 V. Black or white. Ceiling or wall mounting. Connectors, feeds, end caps and suspension sold separately. ⛔⛔ A 3-CIRCUIT TRACK FED FROM A SINGLE SWITCH IS AN EXPENSIVE SINGLE-CIRCUIT TRACK — the capability is bought at the track and lost at the switchboard, and it is the most common way the money is wasted. ⭐ WHAT IT BUYS PROPERLY WIRED: trading light, feature and window lighting switched separately for after hours, and cleaning light on only when needed. ⭐ THE CIRCUIT ASSIGNMENT IS ALSO A LOAD DECISION — spreading heads across the three circuits is how a long run stays within rating, and no current rating is published on this listing.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Three independently switchable circuits in one extrusion, with each head set to one when it is fitted. So one run can do three things: the heads that stay on through trading hours, feature and window lighting switched separately for after hours, and cleaning or stocking light on only when needed. In a shop that trades twelve hours and is lit sixteen, that split saves real energy.
Feeding it from a single switch. A 3-circuit track on one switch is an expensive single-circuit track — the capability is bought at the track and lost at the switchboard. It has to be wired and switched for at fitout. Tell us how you want the space controlled and we will confirm the switching before anything is ordered.
In whole sections where you can. Track is sold in fixed lengths and joined with connectors, and a 3 metre section is the common module. Track can be cut, but a cut end needs an end cap and the cut has to be clean and square or the heads will not seat properly. A 9 metre run from three sections is simpler than an 8.5 metre run from two and a cut piece.
They are visible, so their positions are a design decision. Set them out symmetrically or align them with something in the space rather than letting them fall wherever the sections end.
It is underused. A track run along a wall above a display, with heads aimed outward, lights merchandise from the front rather than from above — which for shelving is often better, because overhead light leaves the lower shelves in shadow. It also puts the fittings within reach for re-aiming. The trade is that the track and heads are at eye level and firmly visible, so the finish matters more.
Yes, and it is the constraint to check. Each circuit has a maximum current, and a run of twelve 32W heads all set to circuit 1 will reach it long before the same twelve spread across three circuits. So the circuit assignment is a load decision as well as a control one — spreading heads across the three circuits is how a long run stays within rating.
No datasheet, and no current rating, conductor size, weight or head-load limit. For a track system those are the specifications. Ask us for the ratings before specifying a long or heavily-loaded run — and remember a track run is a system rather than a product: connectors, feeds, end caps and suspension are all separate items, and the commonest ordering mistake is buying the track and forgetting the rest.
